I'm so jealous! :blank:

Well, instead of a towel we waved to each other. Makes it a tiny bit better perhaps:P

Still cannot believe I already went.. I miss em already!

Aaah the famous towel keeps popping up!

Just read the O2 and Sportpaleis threads, which had more mixed reviews. I don't know what was going on in Rotterdam, but I can't complain at all. I think we shared a special night!

What a difference with the lame crowd at the Goffertpark in 2009. For a minute (or more like 2,5 years) I was scared it had to do with the Dutch mentality, but I'm happy I got proven wrong. ♥

I read those threads as well and yeah, seemed like we had an awesome audience. Can also remember that at the Goffertpark I was surrounded by people who were only talking during the concert. How annoying!

I really would love to meet up with you guys at the 6th of september Malieveld concert. I wanna get there pretty early:sneaky:

Indeed the crowd was really amazing, well at least in front, don't know about the back. And what really surprised me was how many people were singing along to UATW simply amazing. Well I heard the crowd at the Goffertpark was pretty lame although it was a real party in front(where I was jumping):D

I often don't get it why people spend 66 euro's to see Coldplay and then just stand still without even attempting to sing along or move along.

Actually I was standing next to 2 girls who didn't even know the songs?

I heard one of them say after like... 5 or 6 songs: "Oh! You should know this one!"

And they were talking loudly to each other the WHOLE fucking time and now I regret I didn't say something about it to them. Aww well...

I've read the reviews on Antwerp, and some of them are talking about the magnificent concerts in earlier years (comparing to this one) and now I'm sad I discovered Coldplay kind of late... (I have to admit I wasn't a fan of them in the beginning, but suddenly there was a major switch haha)

@R23: Yes, the pizza was delicious!

The night had something magical. I'd like to believe the band felt it too. It really felt like the whole Ahoy was packed with (die hard) fans. You just know that the Malieveld show will not be as this one because you know of all the 'casual' listeners that are coming. I guess is up to us who were at Ahoy to 'steal' the front row places and relive last Saturday!

 I wanna meet up too, but I can't be there...

Exactly! I really hope not many VIP tickets will be sold, so the long waiting fans get in front and make a party:D

Aww shame.. Not being able to get the day off then?

I'd love to. It's my dream to be front row... But I'm probably going with more people who don't want to go that early. Oh well, nine months left to persuade them. :wink3:

Such a shame you can't go Harja!

Me neither. Probably just to be able to show how cool they are on Facebook.

And yes, a lot of people sang along to UATW, and even Up In Flames!

Yeah, they must have felt it too! Now where's that R42 blog? :P

I just hope the Malieveld won't be a Goffertpark #2. It's not sold out yet, is it?

I'm also dying for that new blog! He must mention this show, haha!

I'm still waiting as well. Wasn't there another concert tonight? Hopefully it gets posted today..

Really want to read that blog, they HAVE to mention Ahoy come on!:sneaky:

Hahaha, that makes it better (:

I miss them too, need to save money to see them again soon..

Such a shame you can't go Harja!

 Well, I'm sure I'll see them again sometime (: But it's a shame I can't meet you guys :(

Ze zijn weer op 3fm!

Really?! I'm hearing this crazy Irish song

Check the Malieveld thread for two videos:D

Chris was trying to say Gerard and that was hilarious. Hope that video will come online soon:sneaky:

Was that the part where Chris tried to wish the DJ's good luck? I heard it this afternoon on SR. Hilarious!

Yeah, when he tried to pronounce Gerards name (: Really funny haha!

YES!

I'm so proud of us :P

So am I! :D

Yay!

I’ve got to be honest, I was expecting the Rotterdam audience to be somewhat - um, “laid back” I guess is the right phrase. It just goes to show that you never can tell…

Why's that?:inquisitive:

Yay!

Why's that?:inquisitive:

The 2009 Goffertpark gigs I suppose... From what I've heard the Viva gig in Ahoy was pretty awesome (wasn't there so I'm not sure).
