Coldplay staat in binnen no time volledig uitverkochte zalen. En is op Eurosonic Noorderslag in januari uitgeroepen tot beste headliner op de grote Europese festivals. Maar toch zijn Chris Martin en co niet te beroerd om intiem te rocken voor een select groepje lucky bastards.

Coldplay op het Malieveld

 

De mannen van Coldplay brachten in 2011 hun nieuwste album Mylo Xyloto uit. Het succes van dit album mondde uit in een aantal uitverkochte optredens in ons landje. En Coldplay keert in september 2012 terug voor een openluchtconcert op het Malieveld in Den Haag.

Maar als kers op de taart nestelde de band zich aan de BNN bar in That's Life voor een exclusief live-optreden. Dit live-optreden wordt zaterdagavond op 3FM uitgezonden. Mis dit niet! Luister zaterdag 21 januari tussen 18.00 en 20.00 uur naar That's Live met Eric Corton.

 

Let op: de opnames van dit exclusieve optreden zijn al gemaakt, dus je kunt hier helaas niet meer bij zijn.

BNN does know how to raise attention for this broadcast, but now I really wanna know what exactly they'll be playing. Is it possible they did something acoustic while they were in Rotterdam?

I think it was done at Pinkpop or before the concert in Cologne (2 November) because they arrived quite late at Ahoy.

What the hell? How odd, I listen to 3FM a lot, but I've never heard of this. Chances are they are just gonna put the Cologne show on though. Weird..

All these Ahoy recordings/acoustic gig press announcement are really vague. Guess we'll hear what it turns out to be this Saturday. My test week just started today, but I haven't got any test this Monday or Thursday, so I guess it's okay if I take a break from learning Saturday evening ;).
