Show Me A Coldplayers' Sign!

Featured Replies

I don't know if there's a thread like this yet, or if this goes in this forum, but besides the Charlie Brown Dance (great idea!), we need some sort of little code/sign/gesture so our fellow Coldplayers watching streams etc. can identify us. Our own 'secret knock' if you will. Any thoughts?

CP'ing patches like the MX patches would be AWESOME! I don't know much about getting things like that made, but I'd buy one! :D

Someone here has a cousin who makes patches, its like $15 to buy them...I can make designs but someone needs to find a company :D

BTW: I'm not digging the black, but I'm still working with the masking effect on photoshop: Bare with me :P

Awesome!! Something in MX colours would be cool too since it would go with the new merch.

^42?

I think a hand signal would be best...liking the 'Cup C over the eye' idea

GENUS!

It wasn't my idea, the second poster suggested it...

Or did you mean the '42' thing? lol

yeah, i agree. that one sounds much cooler and it might be easier to do that quickly if needed. :P

So, when a camera is on you during a gig or you show up on the screens or iunno you meet a coldplay fan:

With your right hand make a cup, 'c', shape and put it over your right eye. I changed it to right side because from the viewer it looks like a C, with the left hand it's backwards. The point is to show others you're from coldplaying, not yourself.

^Basically exactly like that picture

hmmm... that is true...

although if all fingers are used to make the C, it should be fine...

or people could hold up double-Cs... which would sort of look like two tops of a heart mushed together...

off the top of my head, hows about a peace sign with one hand covering the top of the other hand thus making an equal sign on the back of the hand? a la chris's hand x&y era?

Or a C above our heads?

Or a C in one hand and a > with the other? C = Cold > = Play?

On the Muse forums, they had special shirts designed. You can order them, and customize the area on the sleeve with your screename.

If Coldplayers had an "official" shirt like that it would be pretty cool. And it would be easier to find friends while queuing and whatnot.
