I would say the only thing that we could put on that shirt to make it better would be to put our username on the sleeve, maybe? But other than that I LOVE this shirt design!!!!!

Anyone kinda freaked out over the 'Steve Jobs' news and the similarities the new butterfly logo has to the old apple logo? It's kinda weird that I mentioned in a few days before it happened....

The butterfly could also be on an angle and maybe a bit larger. I like the size of the text a lot though. Just some suggestions, really nice design.

We had a cafepress shop, we donated the money from sales to various CCC causes. We should either find out who's running it, or start over. We could also get the How We See The World CD back in there. That's where the 2010 meet-up shirts were.

 

Any Mods or older members know where to begin?

I looked at both cafepress and spreadshirt to see what the design options are:

 

Cafepress: there is only a limited amount of space on the shirt to place an image. If you decide to have a smaller image at the bottom, it is not possible.

Prices: I picked the standard American Apparel shirt: 27$ + shipping or 23.50€ + shipping

 

Spreadshirt: there is a printable area on the full front of the shirt, which makes it possible to use a smaller image at the bottom. However, additional images result in extra costs. There is also an option to print on the sleeve for those who would like a username for example.

Prices: Prices vary on the type or brand of shirt you pick, but they seem lower than at cafepress.

 

I'm also a bit worried about the blurriness on the edges of the design and if it will turn out ok :\

I like it Billy, but I'm going to give you some constructive criticism. :nod:

 

Right now, it kind of looks jumbled and . . . random. :thinking: I like that you tried to incorporate X&Y and VLV eras, but they both look a bit out of place. I would almost prefer a little "CPing" logo on the front. (like the Facebook one)

 

 

I also am not really a fan of the name tag thingy on the front. However, I think it would look really nice if you got rid of the 42 on the back, and then moved everything down a bit. Then, with the empty space now created on the top, you could put the username there.

 

 

Altogether though, it's a fine looking shirt. :wacko:
