Swallowed Seaman
Truly though, Cartoon Heart would have been a totally acceptable name, which I'm pretty sure all the old scribblings on their whiteboard were referring to. But I've fallen in love with Charlie Brown either way, so...yay! :D
ApproximatelyInfinite
This is pretty cool! Though I don't know if I think that's WHY it's called Charlie Brown, I think that Snoopy-to-title connection might just be a coincidence--speeding up and slowing down vocals in music isn't something new, so I think the 4x the speed thing could just be kind of a fluke. I recall Chris saying the song came from (and I'm totally paraphrasing) the idea of cartoons getting run over in one scene and in the next scene, they shake it off and are back to normal....the incredible idea of being able to start over in our world intrigued him. The title Charlie Brown was an actual lyric in the original song, but they got changed and the title of the song never got changed because once a song is named, its hard to rename it, I believe it was Guy who said that last week. I knew about the second thing, but not the first! Thanks for that, do you know what interview that first part comes from?

Thanks for that, do you know what interview that first part comes from? it's from a rock of fame radio show in Canada. I think it's in on of the threads, but if you use those key words you should find it on YouTube
james
It's not that fascinating. Unless I'm completely missing something. Don't get me wrong - Charlie Brown is probably my favorite track on the album.

The Philosopher
Charlie Brown slowed down.wmv - YouTube[/url] Just hearing the chords of the last seconds, I know that an acoustic version of Charlie Brown would be as amazing as the original one too.
