I just came up with that idea, that many covers could be so much better if people would work together. (yes, I came up with this while making a cover..) So I thought why not uploading my whole project file and asking other people to improve it? (It works with software (open source), so why not with music?)

 

So here it is, my recently recorded cover of Kylie's Can't Get You Out Of My Head in the Coldplay-Glastonbury-Version. (so it's actually a cover of a cover). Feel free to download, listen, comment, like, dislike, improve or whatever you wan't to do! And if you share it here, it would be so cool.

well, i would like to do vocals.

 

and it's usually easiest to find instrumentals around here so hopefully if we can get someone to upload something they've worked on but is incomplete and maybe go from there.

 

i have no piano/keyboards because i've sold them...going through a bit of a rough patch so i would love to start with something of that nature since i miss it.

I could do the guitar and, if no one else wants to do it I could play drums and bass (but I'm not such a good drummer or bass player). So is there anyone who would like to give an unfinished original song or create a new one?

I'm doing original song, but I can't play or record drums and drums loops suck pretty much. Besides, I find it really difficult to come up with drums parts.

It was unfinished at this point, this was just a VERY rough recording to show my band, and it's finished now, but it would be really interesting to see what else could be done with it. I have both an electric & acoustic guitar, and a little bit of mixing knowledge. I also have MUCH better recording equipment now than in this clip.

I would be up for this, I have a potential song to work on too. It was unfinished at this point, this was just a VERY rough recording to show my band, and it's finished now, but it would be really interesting to see what else could be done with it. Sure, the tuning is EADGC#C# (same as Violet Hill, LITII if you can play those) for the acoustic, although you can play it with bar chords in standard but it doesn't sound as good.
