USA Support Acts-Who do you want?

Featured Replies

Since the US shows start in April, they will probely announce the Openers in March. so, who do you want to open for them? for the whole tour, of course.

My opener: The Airborne Toxic Event and Mumford and Sons or the Wombats.

I'd say Airborne Toxic Event is possible, but I really doubt they would be able to get Mumford as support. Don't know much about Wombats, but I've heard good things about them.

I would like to see Metric again, so as a support they'd be cool. :dazzled:

Airborne Toxic would be amazing! Maybe Death Cab for Cutie or Mat Kearney? :D

Airborne and Death Cab would be awsome

I would love it if it's Airborne Toxic. I have been dying to see that band live. I would also throw in Naked and Famous or The Head and The Heart.

Naked and Famous would be great too!

P.S. y3110w Viva Chuck :)

Arctic Monkeys are off starting in April! :)

They'll be touring with the Black Keys until then, but it would be awesome to have them open for Coldplay afterwards...

I don't really know who to pick, but, I liked the Howling Bells when I went in 2009.

I personally would love Young the Giant to open for them... but they are beginning their first headlining tour next Spring so I doubt it would happen  Coldplay has always had great opening acts though, so I am sure it will be someone great!
