Please do not bring recording devices or any other prohibited items. Non-professional cameras and cell phone cameras are allowed during the concert.

Does a Canon DSLR count as a professional camera?

I'll be there but not too early as it's my daughter's ninth birthday and I'm bringing her :-D. Otherwise I would've loved to have met some coldplayers

ANY camera that has a removable lens is considered a "professional" camera, even if you only bring one lens. Point and shoots are fine, even "big" ones, as long as the lens is permanently attached.

My husband and I are leaving in the morning and driving four hours to Toronto and will be there mid day. I Would love to meet some people! :D

Where you coming from?

Oh...by the way? Almost forgot...

FOUR DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D

That's what I figured. Darn it! Anyone think they could possibly be recording this show for a new DVD?

We'll be coming from western NY.

No cameras will be allowed at the @Coldplay shows next week @LIVEatACC. Thank you.

Just for these shows!? What is going on!

I'm so confused. Coldplay just tweeted today that cameras are allowed.

Re a few folks asking - you're welcome to bring your camera to a Coldplay show (as long as it's not a professional / removable lens one). A

Absolutely I think that! Back at the beginning of #ColdplayFilm, several people suggested Toronto, and some said we deserved it for the Cancelled DVD in '06. Maybe Coldplay agree.:D

I'm confused, too. I have VIP tix for both the 23rd and 24th and in the communication they sent out it says "Non-professional cameras and cell phone cameras are allowed during the concert and at the VIP reception."

But the LiveNation Advisory I received in Email said no cameras are allowed.

So I'm going to only take my cell phone on the 23rd and if I see that cameras are getting in I will post something on this thread for the benefit of the folks attending on the 24th.

I'm not going. Thank you megabus for raising your prices AFTER I got a Visa gift card for only the old amount. Thank you so much.

OK, there's a bus at 6:30am that I can still afford, but sitting in the Bay St. Terminal all night doesn't sound good, lol.

God! I hate being so bloody poor!

Well according to Coldplay and anchorman we can bring them. I am just going to bring my digital. Bummed I can't bring my nicer one, but it's okay.

:(. They wouldn't honor their original price for people who already paid? That is terrible!

No, I was just going to the site to pay today when I saw the price increase. I had it figured down to the penny because I have almost no money for the trip.

However, I over-reacted a bit. I'm still going to go, but only if I can find a new way home of somewhere to hang out other than a coffee shop, lol.

How far do you live from the venue?

CAMERAS ALLOWED

@TracieMorgan @coldplay @LIVEatACC Hey Tracie, the policy was updated. You can bring a camera as long as the lens does not exceed 75mm.

^I live in Kingston a couple hours away.

Oh, that's a bummer. I hope you find somewhere to go!

Got it sorted...FINALLY!

In 48 hours I'll be at the ACC waiting to see the best band in the Universe!!!!!!!!!!

48 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!

I went on YouTube and saw clips of the intro for this tour. Oh WOW this looks like it is going to be an incredible show! :juggle:

Anybody know if they're doing any press over these next two days? in the past, whenever it was a two-day stint, they would always have at least one appearance on MuchMusic/etalk, etc...

So far there's been no word of any. They've done almost none since the release publicity.

OK, in just over 24 hours, one of the best days of my life begins. G'night!:D

Any thoughts on what section 117, row 8 seats 13&14 will be like - are they a little too far to the back side of the side or from other experience on the tour will we still have a good view of the goings on on stage?

Thanks for your feedback....
