Well it's somewhat similar but nothing near stolen:thinking: The Starlight riff from Muse is more similar.

umm no. Like, not even close.

Kinda disappointed actually. The riff is pretty generic, and I'm sure there are tons of much closer sounding songs out there (just by coincidence). For example, when I first heard it, I couldn't help but think of

Even if Coldplay did "steal" U2's riff, they would credit them. For example, some of the tracks on MX we're sampled from Sigur Ros and even ETIAW was credited to Peter Allen.
