Tash
Although Coldplay were on a mission to make Mylo Xyloto their most pop-oriented collection of material to date, we were still shocked when it was announced that they were to team up with Rihanna on a track. Partly because the band had never collaborated with another artist on one of their own albums, but mainly due to the Bajan star's raunchy club numbers seeming at odds with their dulcet tones. However, it's a combination that prospers from their stylistic differences. "Once upon a time we burned bright/ Now all we ever seem to do is fight," RiRi purrs over an empyrean whirl of colossal beats and celestial synths, before Chris Martin joins in for a round of sky-soaring "ooohs". The result is the cheesecake of songs; two ingredients that on paper seems plain wrong, but in reality is wholly satisfying. link

Mark
You don't actually get cheese in cheesecake though, do you? You don't in the ones I make anyway. Not that I like cheesecake. And strictly speaking it should be a biscuit, not a cake.
Coldplero
Well, If DigitalSpy concludes that I'm fine with it. Bon Jovi would be mad at it.
