What do you mean by that?

The check (merchandise) IS in the MAIL. Often said when you talk about not receiving it, but he did not send it, and he wants to get out of the conversation quickly. If he sent it , he would be concerned why you haven't received it. If he hasn't sent it, he would tell you when he plans to send it. Look for him ending the subject and wants out of it and relieved when you end the subject. This is a sign of a liar.

Check out with the post office for package tracker, regestered mail, certified mail.

I believe he's a liar then:

 

I asked him about a tracking number and he said there isn't any.

He only answered me when I pressed him to about the whereabouts of my package.

And he's in no way concerned since he hasn't answered my SMS in 3 weeks.
