It's not really about gay love but a fun light-hearted pop song, and even since 1995 this hasn't caused much controversy at all:

But yeah, they are both about gay experiences. I'm wondering what Frank Ocean of Odd Future (Rap group/collaboration I like, but arguably homophobic) is going to do with his next songs now that he's come out, it's pretty significant over there, google it.

Also Eddilly there's nothing gay about YMCA or even the song except that it was by a group targeting the gay audience, they also sang "In the Navy" but I don't think the navy is known for being any more gay then any institution (Well, the American navy at least).

Frank Ocean - Thinking About You is about a guy...probably

Well it should be, unless he's bisexual and also had relationships with females (I think he has) but maybe now he's coming out as gay he isn't bisexual anymore. iunno

Shut up the Navy isn't gay either. :veryangry:

when i was little i went to see a navy ship at the harbour but i was too scared to climb the really steep steps to get on board...does this mean i am scared of homosexuals?!
