Sounds great! I always try to do this and I just cannot get the tremolo picking down. Well done! :)

Would you be so kind as to post the tabs for this? I've got the actual solo worked out, not so sure about the chord shapes beginning at 0:48 however :/

i'd be more than happy to. I'll get around to it tomorrow when I get back from UNI and try and re-record just the guitar part without the actual track.
