NumbersGirl
I don't understand the logic... cut a guy who was perfect in the preseason? Lions cut kicker Havard "Kickalicious" Rugland ALLEN PARK, Mich. — The Lions have released kicker Havard Rugland. Rugland became an Internet sensation after producing a YouTube video with a lot of quirky trick shots. The Lions signed the Norwegian in April 11 to give kicker David Akers some competition. Rugland, made each of his three field goals during the preseason. A year ago, he was working at a child protective services facility in Norway. The 28-year-old Rugland had tryouts with the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns and Detroit. The Lions were the only team to offer him a contract. The team also cut wide receiver Terrence Austin and cornerback Dequan Menzie. They need to cut two more players to reach the 75-player roster limit by 4 p.m. The Lions claimed Menzie off waivers in May from Kansas City. The Chiefs drafted Menzie last year in the fifth round. link

NMFWTTG__
I'm a Giants' fan from Napoli. Yeah, it's a bit 'strange. Incredible match yesterday against the Cowboys. A lot of mistakes by the QBs and by our RBs. While Victor Cruz made a great game with 3 TDs and 110 yards receiving. It was a bad L but we need more attention by the RBs and by Manning. Texas Rez
Kubiak said Schaub was expected to start I thought This is what Kubiak said a few days ago after the Texans' recent loss to the 7-0 Cheifs: I’ve got to sit down and look at our situation and what’s going on right now. Obviously, Matt’s our starting quarterback. Case (Keenum) play this week because Matt wasn’t healthy. Case went in and played extremely well. I’m going to sit down, we’re on a bye week, I’m going to evaluate where we’re at as a team and move forward form there. So I’m going to do that everywhere, not just at the quarterback position, I’ll do that at every place. I'm basically down on my knees praying that Keenum will have his second start!
