Hidden Track?

Featured Replies

Hey people, first of all I'm really sorry if someone saw me post this in the wrong sub-forum, I'm really embarrased for that.

Well, so far we've received hidden tracks in three album closers: Parachutes (Life is For Living), X&Y ('Til Kingdom Come), Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends (The Escapist).

Well, this song is the album closer, just like those, and according to iTunes it is around 7 minutes long, which imo is too much for only one song. I think it is very possible that we get a hidden track here. What do you think?

Yeah, eight minutes is a little long for one song. Most likely, there will be a hidden track (perhaps a short instrumental?). But an eight minute epic would be awesome!

Also, I think that Coldplay's longest song is Gravity at 6:18. For some reason, they don't like making songs longer than five and a half minutes.

I'm not sure if it means anything, but the iTunes description says that O, "fades out, offering a wordless, melancholy hymn from a distant choir...". Could this mean that the hidden track is an instrumental track that comes after O?

^I think your might be on the right track but I would seriously Loove an eight minute Coldplay song! I'm a fan of longer songs and to have Coldplay do it would be unreal!

There is also the possibility there might be one in Oceans as when we have heard it live it's shorter than the time description on iTunes.
