and for Dave's girl, Shanghai is a modern city, busy people everyday, she has its own way of charming to the people around the world, i think. :) Many things going on here. and in Nov., Shanghai will hold The Master Cup of tennis. (first Asia city to hold the event, not bad. 8) )

by the way, I notice you are in Liverpool, :) some people said Shanghai has some way like Liverpool.

Shanghai was twinned with Liverpool last year wasn't it. I'm glad you like Liverpool Football Club (they're my team too). One of my teachers went to Shanghai last year on a trip to Shanghai (to the international school i think) and the pictures he brought back looked amazing.

Right! Liverpool and Shanghai are sister city. :) Lovely! And I remember as for that Liverpool Youth Football Team had been here and had a match with Shanghai Youth Football Team. :) Cool! :wink:

i never realised that the youth team had been out there. :lol: i spent 2 years in the school hockey team (a long long time ago, thank god) and the only plus point was that where we played hockey, the youth team sometimes trained. :lol: but you didn't need to know that, sorry, i'm just bored and rambling. :oops:

hockey, i'm sorry to say, neither kept me mentally or physically healthy. i just stood there and hit anyone who came near me with my hockey stick. i don't really do moving if i can help it. :lol:

I think my footballing technique was a bit like my hockey playing - except I didn't have a wooden stick to help me so I used to just run round kicking people - not that I was a violent child or anything :gunfire:

I used to play hockey at school but I never had my own stick, so I always use to get a crap one that had like no wood left because it had been worn down through years of abuse by volatile unco-ordinated "hockey hooligans" :shock: :roll:
