With the Super Bowl just around the corner, you better believe that everyone's putting the finishing touches on those much-talked about commercials!

The Today show hosts Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, Natalie Morales, Willie Geist, Tamron Hall and Hoda Kotb all got together for their ad that will air during the sports event—and photos have already been released to show us exactly what we're in for on the big day.

The early morning stars were all seen walking down Avenue of the Americas in New York City, just outside of 30 Rockefeller Center, greeting fans and posing for selfies along the way.

The commercial's director, Mat Whitecross, explained how he wanted to create a 30-second clip loosely inspired by his popular music video for Coldplay's "A Sky Full of Stars."

That video shows frontman Chris Martin walking through the busy streets of Sydney, with citizens joining him and the rest of his band member's, ultimately to a stage where he performs the hit track.

Whitecross' Today show ad will have the same music in the background, as well as a similar feel with crowd engagement.

"[social media is] everything now," Lauer shared with reporters. "It's unbelievable how much is required of you and expected of you. Some of us are better at it than others, but that's how people in the audience want to be connected to us on TV."

Kotb agreed and chimed in, "We go out on the plaza and no one asks for autographs anymore. It's all about the selfie. That's the new autographs."
