gai
According to Jane Weaver, Coldplay contacted her regarding sampling a song for their latest album. Then I had an out of the blue phone call from Coldplay, who had sampled one of my songs for their latest album! x Since Coldplay has not included any samples by Jane Weaver on their previous releases, it is a good guess that this is for AHFOD. Sparky
@ohchrismartin on Twitter replied back that the sample was already used on 'Another's Arms' I thought it was a synthesizer though. Didn't The Oracle say something about it?
gai
i thought it was synthesizers too. corrected on twitter just in case. sorry about the confusion!
jc90
Wouldn't u still have to ask for permission if you were reproducing the melody, even if it was through a synth?
gai
that is true. but wiki specifically says a vocal sample. anyway, a little digging shows jane weaver talking about it as well. so no lp7 news here sadly. we are getting desperate for any news

the_escapist
I am pretty sure she is referring to her sampling in Another's Arms.
