Little Miss Coldplay
Hi, Will we be allowed to take cameras into the gig? Can't remember camera rules from Under 1 Roof at Hammersmith Apollo. I remember at Casino de Paris I wasn't allowed to take a flip camera in when I went to see the boys. At RAH when I went to see the boys, I stood there taking photo's and a member of staff there told me off and said she hoped I wasn't recording. I wasn't, I was only taking pictures. What about Wembley and a flip camera? I wouldn't mind using my phone but just worry about the battery. I'll have nobody to give my camera to if they don't let me take it in. Luckily I was with someone who'd come on the trip with me in Paris who wasn't coming into the gig so gave it to them ro look after x Sent from my GT-I9195 using Coldplaying mobile app

Little Miss Coldplay
the gopro are forbidden.. Oh I don't have one of those. I think I might just use my phone. The idea of messing about with a flip camera is already annoying me. Ahhh that lady who worked at RAH really got on my nerves, talking to me while the gig was happening, telling me she hoped I wasn't recording when I was just taking photo's! x
stevew
Generally cameras seem to be allowed in gigs but only if they don't have removable lenses. I think if you have that kind of camera i think they worry you are a professional. RAH generally are not 'fans' of recording but i think if you're pretty subtle you are ok. It can depend on the type of gig. Mike

Nie
This info is on the Wembley FAQ site (and was changed just a while ago) : So apparently, if you have a camera with a lens less than 300 mm, it is allowed. And you can bring your own food and drinks but it might get poured over in cups. So I think if you bring beverages in cardboard packaging might/should be fine.
Little Miss Coldplay
Ok thanks everyone. I think I'll just stick with my phone. A flip camera would get annoying, especially as my hands will probably be shaky x Sent from my GT-I9195 using Coldplaying mobile app

The trick with bottles is to have spare lids buried in your bag, then if the security person decides to remove the lid you have a spare to relid it once clear of security :cool4:

Done this a lot of times but only works if you can keep the bottle. Also useful if you can only buy drinks inside. You can buy several at once and keep them closed.
