well majoring in psychology and minoring in english and economics...it was quite boring...l wanted to be a highschool economics teacher...BUT now l want to go into business

I'm into a lot of newish art, have you ever heard of Jake and Dinos Chapman, and Cindy Sherman? Really into them at the moment, little bit dark....sadistic even 8)

hmm l dont really know modern...l dont study art anymore..

 

l've been painting since l was so little :) l love it...

l like to paint still...you know? like nature, and people...but...the people are the ones..who don't pose...like..if l see someone who is at a park where l am painting...and they have not noticed me...then l will paint them...only because they hav not noticed me as yet...so it is a very pure art 'to me' or...l will paint photographs...that are quite candid...because to me it seems more 'true' l dunno lol..basically...l like to paint things who do not know they are being painted....cuz that way, l feel l catch them in their true form

lol, I'm sort of into the opposite kind of thing to you, I like figurative and portrait painting but I like having a surreal element changing colour or form slightly so that you can tell that somethings 'not quite right'. My whole attitude to art sums me up really :P

hehe, it's hard to explain isn't it. But that's why I like art, I don't have to explain myself, people can have their own ideas about what I'm doing. I have none of my 'proper' work to show as it's at college, I only have sketches at home. But at the moment, to give you an idea of my mind at work I'm taking extreme close ups of body parts, manipulating the colour/contrast etc by computer and then painting them, they look extremely surreal...sort of a twist on what we see everyday...or something :shrug: :P

ohhh yah...l get it...l know what you're doing...bahh its so altered though, l can't do that...but l get what you mean!! its really cool!
