battmatth
Hello, Now I have the Love in Tokyo CD, I'm trying to identify the locations of the live recordings. In the booklet, we know that the tracks were recorded at : Tokyo Dome, TokyoOlympic Stadium, SeoulStadio San Siro, MilanStade De France, ParisAmsterdam Arena, AmsterdamRose Bowl Stadium, Los AngelesThe Red Bull Arena, LeipzigGlastonbury Festival, UK I put here the locations for each track when it's known : A Head Full Of DreamsYellow (Live from Glastonbury) => Chris speech before the end of the song. The ScientistParadise (Live from San Siro, Milan) => Everglow (Live from Stade de France, Paris) => "Merci beaucoup tout le monde" by Chris at the end of the song.Midnight/Charlie BrownHymn For The WeekendFix You (Live from Tokyo Dome) => Viva La VidaAdventure Of A LifetimeUs Against The World (Live from the Red Bull Arena, Leipzig)Something Just Like This (Live from Tokyo Dome = Tokyo Remix)A Sky Full Of StarsUp&Up (Live from San Siro, Milan, a lot edited) => The work is hard because we have to compare the tracks with the videos of the gigs on youtube to find the correct locations. Could you help me to complete ? Thank you in advance
thesuperlloyd
At a guess, I would say that Midnight/Charlie BrownHymn For The Weekend are also from Tokyo Dome, given that they merge seamlessly into each other and the into Fix You, including 'overhanging' parts from the previous song into the next track. Happy to be contradicted though... Cheers, Lloyd :)
thesuperlloyd
'...and then into Fix You...' A Sky Full Of Stars is from Tokyo, if Chris saying 'arigato' at the end is any indication
Yasuko
Hi! I also wanted to find out which song was recorded where but I gave up 'cause one song was recorded at more than one venue. I went to the gig in Tokyo and have recorded some songs and collected many videos of it from YouTube, IG, Twitter etc and I was very disappointed that there was not a single song that was recorded only inTokyo as Chris told us they'd release a live in Japan album. Okay, that probably explains the vague nature of the CD credits. If the band is big enough and there's enough bootlegs out there, you'll find people who don't give up like you and I. Here's a great example: http://www.thegardentapes.co.uk/tgt.html Thanks for your reply to the thread :)
GamingForeverAUS
ASFOS is from Milan, Italy on July 4th. Also the IEM for the Tokyo show was leaked and only two songs so far have been confirmed to be on Love In Tokyo. Those being Fix You and Charlie Brown
