Is it just only me, but i find 2006-present Gary waaaay more atractive...he looks cute here...but...i dunno

i think young Gary's just as cute...just in a different way. cos of the baby face, even in his early 20s (based on my estimate of his age at the time of that interview). but it seems that because of his baby face too, he's aging very gracefully so far... :wacky:

 

...just as long as he doesn't put on a cap! good gawd! i'm sorry, but Gary, stick to beanies if you must cover up your (lovely) hair. you can't pull of a cap/hat at all! :facepalm:

I think everyone in here will agree that you can really fully fell in love with them once you see them live. They're certainly not the best musicians but they're really bonding with their audience (thx to Gary funny banters) and make them participate. They make you feel that you're not just 'another show' on their list but that they're really having a blast. Never seen a band smiling on stage like that.

Typical SP gig ambiance. Festival through all song, the must part bit being around 2min30-3min :laugh3:

& cos it's such a high resolution photo, i can tell that Gary doesn't/didn't tie his shoelaces! :lol: + i think that's the pair of adidas shoes that he likes to wear very often cos they're comfy...he said in an interview that if he'd known how comfy they were, he'd buy loads of them! :laugh3: (which i can so relate to...cos i bought a 2nd pair of the exact same adidas shoes recently...cos they were that comfy! :wacky: )

One of my favorite photographs of yours (that cracks me up) is Jonny, Tom & Gary lying down on railroad tracks, in your SP Europe album on Facebook. Where is that and what are they doing!?, and does Gary always have miss matched socks on?

 

The Tour bus was parked beside a disused railway track in Dusseldorf and i thought it would make a great shot. I had tried an image with Tom earlier in the day but it was after we left the gig i thought i would try it again. One of the crew is holding a torch in the background and two in the foreground lighting up the boys. Yes, gary always wears odd socks.

 

& i remember Gary himself saying in an interview he always wears odd socks for personal superstitious ritual reasons...whatever in the world that might be that'd make him wear odd socks ala Punky Brewster. but then, it's quirky things like this that make him so adorkable, imo! :wacky:

 

that comic strip thing made me LOL too! i'm assuming that some effort was put into making sure all the images of Gary used featured him with the same hair style/length for continuity's sake. impressive. most impressive. :cool:

i've actually seen that promo item go on sale at a music & memorabilias listing site! can't remember how much it was going for & i didn't buy it...it'd be rather awkward explaining why i have that if i ever had the balls to even display it. not to mention possibility of accidental parental discovery even if hidden. :P

 

the AHMS promo item is quite tame compared tho that quirky (yet quite apt given the song title) one for 100 Things...it's just glow in the dark stars. :dozey:
