I prefer the UK version of the video, I think it's got more atmosphere.

I like the Uk version as well. It's kind of like you are "discovering" Gary's body during the video. You only see little bits at a time. Then finally you see it all.

 

Basically it just makes my heart rate skyrocket.

 

So the last show in the US was played on the 30th. Next they are starting their European tour on Oct. 8 in Oslo. Anyone here going?

Omg Marisa is that pic from our show?!?! I remember when Gary did that i was sad cause the camera was about to die! Gosh, I am seriously missing that concert! I have found myself listening to alot of Augustana lately lol.

 

I like the euro version on chasing cars just cause its very artsy and i like it better than the us one! Gary looks hott both ways i think. He is extremely attractive with the short hair but he is no ugly duckling with long hair. But I do perfer the short hair. * Runs off to watch the video for "Chocolate" *

oh gosh I have Augustana on repeat alot now too. Mayfield and Boston are really rocking songs. Wish I had taken some pics of them during the show.

 

Yeahh I was just thinking, Gary is smoldering hot! I really hope to meet them again and try to have a normal convo instead of my freaking out. I think I will mention how gorgeous his hair is ( can I touch please?), how he is so amazingly passionate in the live performance, and that I would give up school just to be their stagehand on tour. lol.

ohhhh yes, I noticed the bassist right away! He looks orgasmic when playing. So his name is Jared? Lovely name. He reminds me so much of Guy especially the sexy way he plays! took my breath away. And then after the show I saw he put on his glasses. EVEN HOTTER. haha. I walked right by him chatting with fans at the bar, but I was too busy making a bee line to the back entrance to catch SP before they left. Grrr should have asked for a pic. :(

Omg I will so be ready Marisa!!! I know I would like to meet them again and redem some of my pride back. lol Gary is Hott there is no doubt in that at all! Augustana is amazing I have Boston, Mayfield, Bullets, Stars and Blvds, Wasteland, and Lonely People on constant play! haha yeah the guys seemed really nice. Unfourtnatly I didnt get to meet them cause it was either meet them or loose my place in line to meet S.P. Hopefully they will tour with them again. Its crazy cause I have been seeing the Boston vid on VH1 and MTV lately!

I only met Jared. He's so hot and he's really sweet. I took a pic with him and I kept apologizing because I was so nervous. I could post it if you want, but I'm really unglamorous.

 

If you want some premium Augustana songs, Angels, More Than A Love Song, Wasteland and Heart-Shaped Gun are the best. And if you ever hear Devil's Blue Eyes, TRUST ME, that is the ONLY song they've written like that... it's so disturbing. Lol. I can upload any of those songs if need be... I'm willing to share. <3

technically speaking Eyes Open is their 4th album! They came out with 2 albums before Final Straw came out. They are just not very well known, but I recommend giving them a go there are some good songs on them! The albums are "When its all over we still have to Clear up" and "Songs for Polarbears"

ahh you see.. I knew FS wasn't their first because I remember people saying they liked the older stuff when FS came out.... :wink3: .. cool beans.. I'll have to research that.... cheers!
