First off, I'm not a Muslim. It's amazing how many folks confuse Hinduism with Islam or being Muslim...when there is nothing much in common between the two! :rolleyes: :confused:

 

I'm a Hindu.

 

But I know a few things about Muslims. Yeah, the women are ill-treated by modern standards. But as someone else said, most religions do not treat women at par with men. It's also true that Muslims don't think or treat of their women as dirt....the guy you overheard saying so must be joking, for sure.

And the stuff about taking away kids when they turn 11 is total bull shit, sorry to say. I never heard such wacky story about any religion!
