I wasn't trying to say that I'm free of all blame, I feel incredibly guilty about all of this. I was just trying to point out that I was merely winding her up and that there was no substance to what I said and as far as I can see I'm in the wrong, not her!

I might just be grumpy. I had to fly from Barcelona to New York to San Diego in the last 16 hours and my head is just a mess and ....

Either do I. I never have liked Uggs. They seem like they'd always be dirty.

I once spent about £220 on shoes. They were really nice dress shoes.

One day (about two years later) I came home and my puppy had chewed them up.

It was actually kinda cute.

I did sound a bit judgemental then, sorry. If I had the money maybe I'd spend more on things like that...I mean I spend too much on clothes sometimes..but those Uggs are extremely expensive, you need to be on a waiting list to get the pink version!!

All of my clothes are a lot less expensive than those shoes, and in the end I think you can argue I could have spent less on those. My doggy probably did me a favor.

If you spend alot on shoes they tend to last longer though...and be more comfortable. I just can't bring myself to do it though..maybe I should!

I've become very much a sandals person ... I bought a pair of sandles for $1 two years ago and they've latest forever :)

Sandals do last a long time...unfortunately you can only wear them for about 1 and a half months in this country :rolleyes:

 

A good pair of trainers last though!

I've had my trainers for about 4 years. I spent abut 50 pounds on them, though (well, the equivalent to). They better have lasted! The heals are worn, though, but the soles are good.

As long as you wash them occasionally then it's great to hang on to them, I've had mine for three years.
