Well Chris is...

 

*Soooo funny (just listen to his banter on stage and in interviews).

*He's sweet (dedicating songs to fans etc.)

*Very good looking (voted sexiest male at NME awards), gorgeous, bright blue eyes.

*He is soooo cute when he's excited (jumping around, laughing in a cute squeeky voice etc.)

*He's smart (1st class university degree)

*He very obviously loves his friends (esp. Jonny)

*He writes the most heartfelt, emotional and tearjerking lyrics (...tell me you love me, come back and haunt me...)

*He is incredibly talented and can play a multitude of instuments (guitar, piano, harmonica etc)

*He has a gorgeous singing voice (and lovely posh accent)

*He's in the best band in the world (Coldplay :P )

*He relentlessly supports a good cause (MTF)

Me too. Chris has said in interviews that he and Guy didn't get on when they first met...personality clash. I think they are friends, they hang out together and will talk about superficial things like music, films etc. But I get the impression that they don't know a great deal about each others personal lives.

 

I think Jonny knows much more about Chris and Guy than they do about each other...if you know what I mean?!

I think so too. And the thing with Chris and Guy is, that their personalities do clash indeed. Chris is a lot more sensitive than Guy, and Guy can't really understand where he is coming from. I mean they are at total opposites, fire and water. Aries and Pieces. And Jonny is earth, so he can get kinda along with everyone, and keeps good peace with them all. but it is definitely two camps: Jon&Chris and Guy&Will

Yeah..I agree. However I think Will and Chris will are quite close too, as are Jonny and Guy.

 

I think Guy and Chris are COMPLETE opposites, as you said. In every respect!

 

Chris is very anti-narcotics whilst Guy smokes, drinks and enjoys the occasional spliff.

Chris is very animated on stage, commanding attention. Guy stands virtually still almost as if he hopes people won't notice him.

Chris has settled down into family life whilst Guy (I gather) is kinda reluctant to committ himself like that (despite the recent rumours)

Chris knuckled down at uni and got a top marks whilst Guy gave up and dropped out.

 

I think they are just such different people that it's very hard for them to be anything more than bandmates.

 

However...I don't know them personally, I could just be guessing...but I've never seen anything to make me think otherwise!

i heard guy had heard chris and jonny and liked their stuff so he confronted them in a bar and demanded to be in their band! but i do think that they all get along it's just that we dont see everything, just the obvious stuff. but from the dvd it looks like they all get on hunky dory wiv each other and are 4 best friends...although there is j&c and g&w. but still they appear to be great with each other! or at least that's what i get neway. :nice:

Yeah...I'm not saying they don't get on, I'm saying they're not as close as other bandmates are.

 

I mean whenever I watch that geography teacher conversation on the DVD...I always think that it's a bit...strained. :huh:
