I once downloaded "Don't Panic" before I had the "Parachutes" album. When I finally got it, I realized, that the downloaded version is different from the album version...the instruments sound more synthesized and Chris sings the song a bit different...

So what a version do I have? :huh:

Which is from Blue Room? I have two versions of Don't Panic - one starts out with distorted voices and has a more surreal feel to the whole song. The other sounds normally recorded. I'm not a big fan of the way they played it on the Live DVD. Too fast for my taste.

i think the album version if better...plus the drums are out of time in the ep version, my ears can't stand that type of thing

Yeah I'm not a big fan of the Blue Room version. If I listen to it it's just for the vocals, because I like how chris sounds when he says "Oh, all that I've known, there's nothing her to run from." It's like he drags the words on in a monotone voice for as long as possible (On "oh" and on "from")

 

But I like the Parachutes version cause of the guitar. The Live 2003 is the best though in my opinion.
