...I've been out of the city for a while, but i've been hearing things that have disturbed me greatly.

 

Is it true that drive by shootings have been happening a lot here recently?? :stunned:

 

I've been checking cp24.com but i can't find anything, b/c they only have up to the minute stuff and it's a bitch to search through the archives...hehe.

i get citytv, but i really dont want it that often. too depressing. i dont know how people dont get weirded out hearing about shooting after shooting after shooting...

I heard that there was a drive by shooting during the day in Scarborough east and it was in the middle of an intersection. :stunned:

Well, that's kind of scary...

 

A cab driver was murdered about six blocks from here a few days ago, but that's not nearly as scary as a drive-by in broad daylight...

and i also heard that there was a drive-by shooting at a coffee shop and a young mother was paralyzed cause she was shot in the back!

Reminds me of the sniper scare in Washington a couple years ago...

 

People were scared of white vans all the way up here. Even though they eventually caught the guys in a blue Chevy Caprice. :rolleyes:

Yeah, we were supposed to be playing in some jazz competition or something... I was a senior in high school, and the trip was supposed to be in October of 2001, I think... I went to the same thing when it was in New York in 1999 or 2000.
