I agree, they are amazing!

 

Last year Sugarplum Fairy and Johnossi were the support bands at Mando Diao's concert in Hamburg and it was an incredible night! That was the first time I ever heard of Johnossi. Favourite songs are "Glory Days To Come" and "Family Values". :nice:

it's sad that even though there are so many amazing bands here, people from elsewhere only know Finnish metal bands.

 

though Stuard Murdoch (Belle & Sebastian) was seen jumping to this Finnish band, Cats On Fire at their gig in Glasgow :D that's sweet

Can't find the Mando Diao thread, but anyway...

 

I really laughed so hard when I was watching the boxing match between Klitschko and Chagaev last Saturday. Suddenly Michael Buffer announced Mando Diao and their song "Dance With Somebody" which they've changed into "Fight With Somebody". :D

 

It must have been the biggest gig they've ever done, because the boxing match took place in the AufSchalke Arena in Gelsenkirchen with an audience of over 61.000 (!).

I had to resurrect this thread cos I'm getting into a few Swedish bands lately..Mando Diao being one of them...Miike Snow, Peter Bjorn & John being a few others...

 

Anyone point me in the direction of some more good Swedish indie bands :D
