  1. I'm gonna throw this in here and say that this may be one of the best Coldplay songs in years! Critics seem to love it which literally hasn't happened since 2002
  2. I noticed that too
  3. No sorry, try ask in the Dublin thread
  4. Opal Limited, a company created by Brian Eno and Peter Chilvers, has just released a companion app for Coldplay’s new track “Hypnotised”. The app was released on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store on June 9th but fans only realised the quiet release today. Upon opening the app, the user is greeted with a text written in typical Coldplay fashion – not an uppercase letter to be seen! This suggests that the band may play Hypnotised live at each of their concerts to coincide with the app’s release. We are not sure what exactly the aim of this app is but early theories suggest that the app reacts to the song being played live. Thousands of phones displaying a pattern of images in a sold-out stadium may have the potential to create a wonderful sight. The app is based on Bloom by Brian Eno which “allows anyone to create elaborate patterns and unique melodies by simply tapping the screen. A generative music player takes over when Bloom is left idle, creating an infinite selection of compositions and their accompanying visualisations” The Hypnotised app could simply be a rebranded version of this app or it could have some extra features that we do not know about. For now we will just have to wait for a statement from Coldplay or Opal Limited themselves! Let me know below what you think about the app
  5. There is also the possibility of them playing Fun live with Tove Lo, although something tells me they won't.
  6. I'll have to save a lot of money to buy the merch I want :P
  7. They sound checked Everything's Not Lost and I would kill to see that live! Let's hope they are preparing it especially for Dublin and Cardiff ahahah
  8. I think it's great news :P Over 45 million people viewed our facebook page in the last few days which means a lot of them have donated to the manchester emergency fund so I feel pretty happy that 1. We got a lot of new followers and 2. We influenced people to donate
  9. We've been hit with a ton of traffic recently. Just look at our facebook, over 60k likes in 3 days! Seems to have stabilised now
  10. Seeing them in Dublin and Cardiff!
  11. Wait.... your name isn't I Ran Away in real life!!!???! MY WHOLE LIFE HAS BEEN A LIE! I can change any of your personal info if needed, just PM me. If I don't answer the first time just keep bugging me until I do. I should be less busy from now on
  12. I got an email about it, I really want to get it!
  13. I've a feeling that it's gonna be great. They have another 28 days to work on it so at least they aren't rushing it
  14. Marcus Haney has been recording everything as far as I know. Not sure what it is for though
  15. I'm kinda hoping it will be a CD and not a DVD. The video editing would take too long. I'd much rather have a quick release of the CD and then a DVD later!
  16. Yes, I think it uses AAA batteries
  17. I don't think we will see a film, I think this will be similar to LeftRightLeftRightLeft. I didn't see many cameras while they were performing. The only ones that were there were for the screens. There was no dollies or cranes so I can safely assume that we will not see a film.

  19. Yeah they didn't even know anything was wrong until the end of the song :D
  20. Their Coachella show was a disaster at the start due to sound issues but once they were fixed, the band regained their confidence and played a smashing set. Would love to see them live!
