It could be that that was something Global Citizen Festival-, not Coldplay-related. Although the wording is a little ambiguous, so they don't have a "signed contract" - is that a hint that they still are thinking about signing something ? But then, it would be unwise to tweet this if you plan to sign something, that would be a sure way of making fans feel as though they have been fooled later on and I don't think they would do that. Hmm....

There are moments like today when I listened to this song and I feel totally disconnected with the band and ask myself if I can even call myself a fan.... Then I listen to X&Y or AROBTTH and I realize I can't just ignore the fact they wrote those masterpieces that mean so much to me, that this personal connection is going to stay forever. And then of course there is this community which I have grown so fond of ;) To sum it up: Came here for Coldplay, stayed here for Coldplaying !
