Interesting links ! Yeah, the Democrats really need to be reformed. Hillary was so clearly dishonest and "part of the system" that she was unvotable for many people who actually hated Trump, actually I think to a large extent it's the Democrats's fault we have this horrible person in charge of the White House now. If they had chosen Bernie or anyone else more authentic and progressive... Also, I am sick of the two-party system, which does not do the term democracy justice, imho. If any party that is not Democrats or Republicans is by default banned from the debates and ignored by major news media outlets, power will always only go back and forth between those two parties. Other parties are artificially kept out of the game, it's really ridiculous, like the school's two biggest bullies ban all the other kids from the playground, lol. A diverse society is imho better reflected in a diverse party system....

@Little Miss Coldplay - Harmonica was often used during Live Performances of Don't Panic during the Parachutes Tour (and also later on, for example at Glasto 2005). Live performances of Til Kingdom Come also often have it ! Something cool happened. I was just sitting in the student coffeeshop here and the radio was playing. One song ended and I hopefully thought, like I often do, maybe the next song will be Coldplay ? In that moment I heard some familiar piano sounds, and sure enough, it was Everglow (the single version) !

I just saw this photo. At first I thought it was photoshopped, but turns out it is real ! I just wanted to share it because I think it's such a powerful photo. With those huge marches in all of the biggest American cities (as well as everywhere in the world), I have gained hope there will be something like a new strengthened civil rights movement in the US. And given the range of discriminatory/offensive regulations Trump has already started signing, it is probably needed more than ever. Maybe, like in the 60s, people will start to care more about the society they live in ? What do you think ?

I agree with you in principle about the fur industry, one should boycott it. But well, there is also Obama on that record, so compared to some of the stuff he did Beyonce wearing dead animals seems like a minor offence to me...

LOL, I clicked on the thread and replied, when I wanted to send the reply it told me the thread no longer existed :D Anyway: Everyone has good and bad days. Everyone has days on which one is more energized and days on which you are more like "ugh, get this over with and off to bed". I think these variations are normal. May also have to do with general vibe of the crowd, the atmosphere... That said, I hope there is not another marriage falling apart somewhere. Half the band are already divorced, so I really hope Jonny and Will's marriages are more stable.
