  1. Are you sure you didn't retweet it ? Because I am sure I found this page via your Twitter in the days following your attendance there. Hmmm but anyway if I see it correctly the page only mentions the poem recital, not that it's gonna be on the album so the surprise was still there ! :)
  2. Those guitars at the beginning and the soft vocals, the melody, the lyrics...I think Fun is on the way to become my favorite AHFOD song, probably even before Birds.
  3. I ran away replied to ChrissColdplay's topic in New Members
Hi, welcome to Coldplaying ! Nice to see someone who became a fan during the X&Y Era ! I have also never been to a concert.
  4. Happy New Year 2016 everyone May all your troubles be gone Oh New Year lights, keep shining on ! Here it's almost +3 hrs after the start of 2016 ! Unfortunately it started with a burn to my right thumb (while lighting the last !! of my fireworks) but it could be worse ("...I could be alone, I could be locked in here on my own...")
  5. Yeah, of course most of the songs were constructed as such but if it had been the one and only goal they should not have released it that close to Adele. But as I said, I do belive it is wrong to say Coldplay doesn't care about chart positions. Of course that's what they say, but in their hearts every musician cares.
  6. That is right, too. While I like the complex structures of the AROBTTH songs I realized when playing the melodies on keyboard that many of the lead melodies are actually so simple (example: the riff of In My Place, or Clocks) that you wonder why nobody else has discovered them before Coldplay :D
  7. My New Year has also begun - so I only managed to post one song :D
  8. Yeah weird, most of them look oval. I actually like mine because finally Chris's head is fully in the picture again !
  9. I believe that NO artist is really indifferent to the chart positions his music reaches, but of course Coldplay have had so many successes that getting No.1 was probably not their primary goal with AHFOD...
  10. Best news of today so far ! I will save a lot of time in 2016 now ! :D EDIT: 1,5 hours to go !
  11. not swallowed in the sea !
  12. Today I was a bit sad and Fun feat. Tove Lo hit my mood exactly.
  13. Maaria, your free spirits in all honor but you should make a separate thread for your self-invented lyrics :) This game is about existing song titles ! @arushofjacktothehead I have no idea, can you give a hint ?
  14. The statement by @likeafire was not ignorant because it expressed his opinion, nothing more. If he feels good about Coldplay not getting to No.1, what's wrong with it ? Shows how disappointed some of us are with the current Coldplay - I can understand it.
  15. AROBTTH album 30 pts I Ran Away 20 pts X&Y album 10 pts
  16. Of course my first thought was "cavalry choirs" but you already declined VLV, so...hmmmmm Roman Gods maybe ? Moving to Mars ?

  19. Yes, AHFOD (the song - and actually I prefer the live recording) is good for mornings, like LiTii or Glass Of Water or Viva La Vida or Crests Of Waves or or or.... :)
  20. Green Eyes vs. Vashti Bunyan - Same But Different
  21. Lost+ (because of the Rap about "see Caesar, see Brutus" etc.) ?
