The only song I find out of context is Champion Of The World, the rest of the album flows quite well, despite of the diversities among the songs and some raw transitions

Guns is the first true political song since Violet Hill, and reminded me also of 1.36

Am I too late to the party? Not posting on CPing since 2016 I think... :D I'm writing only to say that this is easily the best album they put out in ten years. Clearly not a masterpiece, but it is a solid effort generally speaking. Quite raw and not so cohesive at times, but I can say it is honest and not overproduced. I'll be doing track by track reviews when I'll get the album listened more than now, but my favourite moments are the ones where they try to get out of their comfort zone.

Always waiting and hoping for the artistical rebirth of this band. Since 2011

It's because Jonny's guitar at the beginning embraces dreampop (just listen to groups like Cocteau Twins, The Sundays, Lush or Pure Bathing Culture to compaire). When I listened to AHFOD the first times Fun was the song I liked the most, but with the passing of time I got bored of it for its trviality. 8/10 - A good song from a band I like a lot. That mix of reverb, delay and soft voices always amazes me

It was the first album I ever brought in my life, I was 11. I can feel its songs so related to my soul still today that I'm a nearly 30-years-old man. If I had to choose one song from this magnificent masterpiece it would be clearly Warning Sign... it reminds me of the chances I missed in my life that could make me a happier person, especially talking about love. It's a very intimate and personal song and I felt very pleased when the guys came to my home town to play that one on the b-stage acoustic during the MXT in 2012. I nearly cried, then they played my favourite one which is Speed Of Sound and a tear of emotion got out :D but that's another story.... Happy Birthday AROBTTH, I will listen to you one more time

8/10 - An album I really loved at the time it was released, still sounds so fresh and 80s new wave :) If you like reversed song and stuff like these i'd try with this song... it was composed with the first part played normally and the second one with bacwards effects meant to be played over the first part reversed. 6/10 - I really love Bon Jovi's catalogue, but the last albums didn't impress me that much. This is one of those songs that imho are not bad but nothing special either This is quite long :lol:

I think Everything Now is a good album, I like all the songs except for Peter Pan. It's clearly different to the other four albums but I don't really get all the hatred it's getting. I can see why there are comparisons with Mylo but I find them wrong

10/10 - Gorgeous song and great opening for a great album (and there's David Bowie so how can anyone dislike?) I try with something kinda peculiar... :D
