  1. I still hope they go vaporwave on this one [emoji38] Inviato dal mio ASUS_Z00AD utilizzando Tapatalk
  2. Actually they didn't properly work together on MX, because they started that era but they didn't finish that album with Eno (in the end he was credited anyway) because of some problems about the artistic direction the band was starting to follow. Eno & Dravs make expectations about A L I E N S increase a lot :D Actually we already know all the songs of the EP except for A L I E N S, let's hope it will the song that means they're back to their roots (but I highly doubt it) Inviato dal mio ASUS_Z00AD utilizzando Tapatalk
  3. With this kind of production seems to me like a bad attempt to make a dreampop/balearic song. A decent song anyway, but nothing special, quite generic, I feel it's trying to be bigger than it really is. I haven't listened to the live version yet, but the studio version it's kinda too muffled (it's the same problem that suffered Up&Up)
  4. Chris' falsetto nearly ruined a special moment on Live Forever... I hate that they reduce the whole band to only Chris (that's the member of the group I like the least, just sayin'), but I loved how they covered Oasis' material during the show. They're always the best cover band in the world, if only they remembered how to produce great songs like years ago...

  6. It's clearly written by an oldplayer (quite a fundamentalist one :D). Even if I think that some sentences are too cruel, this article perfectly captures that sense of disillusion that long-term CP fans feel from 2011. Inviato dal mio ASUS_Z00AD utilizzando Tapatalk
  7. Welcome back :) Inviato dal mio ASUS_Z00AD utilizzando Tapatalk
  8. Waiting for the EP to be released, I'm not listening to the soundchecks, hope the praises I'm reading here represent the music
  9. X&Y is pre-MX so is Oldplay :) Newplay songs I like in chronological order: Major Minus Moving To Mars Up With The Birds Atlas Wish I Was Here Midnight (my favourite one of these) All Your Friends Ghost Story Always In My Head Birds Hypnotised Inviato dal mio ASUS_Z00AD utilizzando Tapatalk
  10. I listened to Lookaftering some time ago and I liked it. Her music is quite old style songwriting and acoustic landscaping, but it has this tender warmness that is very interesting. @I ran away :it's you that made me discover that couple of songs of hers I know in other threads :D Inviato dal mio ASUS_Z00AD utilizzando Tapatalk
  11. "To The Water" by Jennie Abrahamson (electropop)
  12. Sandra
  13. Ursula
  14. Rachel

  16. 8/10 - I listened to this a lot at the time it was released (2003), still good today :)
  17. 9/10 - one of the best albums of the 21st century
  18. 7/10 - A really good band, I literally love "Elsewhere", "Cough Syrup" and "My Body"
  19. At least we have something to be optimistic for now, they didn't forget how to make proper music
  20. Reminded me also of Always In My Head
  21. I hope A L I E N S is a vaporwave song [emoji38] Inviato dal mio ASUS_Z00AD utilizzando Tapatalk
  22. I absolutely agree, but I made this comparison just to say that this song has been published on an EP and it's better than the album of its era, like it was for MtM
  23. There's no Gilmour or Pink Floyd in Hypnotised, there's the old Coldplay. Like I said in the other thread, this is the Moving To Mars of this era Inviato dal mio ASUS_Z00AD utilizzando Tapatalk
  24. This song is good, and it's already good news.
