^ This! We shouldn't let a live performance of a song get everyone mad and arguing and pointing fingers at each other after 24 freaking hours.

For one, I agree with Batman in a way. We should all just calm down and start over. We shouldn't let a live performance of a song that might not even be in it's final version recieve so much emotion and hate. I'm honestly surprised at the massive response in this short a time we've seen. Let's just calm down everyone. Exactly. Holy... your posts are massively in-depth all of a sudden! Great job! Did you get that idea from me? :D I noticed, even though KidA doesn't like this song, he isn't a jerk about it. In his last post he stated his opinion without shoving it down our throats, and he also gave reasons. That's the sort of criticism I like to see. Good job KidA, keep it up. If this will be the worst song on the album, this next and up and coming album will undoubtedly be my favorite. In my opinion, this song set the standard almost sky-high, though.

Hi Ccrules2791! Nice to meet you! Now you may not be familiar with my response system so here's how it works: I assign each quote a color. Whoever's quote that is, it's a specific color and I'll say who's quote it is, and in what color it is. For example, I put your quote in green, and you can see that because I mentioned that your post was green. I color code my posts so everyone can find them easily. That could be their next Christmas title. :D Yeah that's the one... I really hope they revisit it someday, unfortunately it doesn't seem likely. It's such a shame they never released it, or got a good recording of it. The only recording is terrible cell phone quality even worse than the quality of the cell phone clips of Amazing Day. I'm saddened to think that such a beautiful song probably will never be revisted and will never see the light of day. Coldplay didn't realize what a masterpiece they had on their hands at the time. We'll never get to hear a good recording of it unless sometime in the future either they do revisit it somehow or there is new technologies sometime in the future that can make a cell phone recording sound pretty good.

Really? The Adversary and beastwars vote for Fix You, arguably the second best of X&Y, now their voting for the best in Viva la Vida. These people must be backwards. I was going to vote Yes, but after seeing this unbelieveable act of voting for Viva this early I'm voting for Lhuna just in case. Also, if you guys were wondering why I wasn't voting for X&Y recently it's because I called it quits after Gravity went. I wan't going to vote in a thread in which I knew all the better songs were going down 5th 4th so on.

I completely agree with you. I could see that there were a few disrespecful people here on this forum that were completely calling this song expletives, and weren't backing it up at all/backing it up poorly/false information. That's just stupid and unacceptable and the people who do that over and over and over and don't leave like trolls are, and I'm really restricting myself here, annoying. Those people have dropped to the level of some YouTube posts. It's childish. I don't mind criticism as long as it's not repeated over and over and they back up their opinion. It's almost like spamming IMO. They need to learn how to back up their opinion, constructively criticize a track, and only do it one or two times and not be annoying about it. EDIT: The "Oldplay" fans who attack these Newplay tracks with expletives and are being completely disrespectful about it aren't real Coldplay fans. If they were. they wouldn't be calling a track "utter shite". They would constructively share their opinion on the song respectfully, even if they don't like it. They wouldn't keep repeating it knowing that'd annoy all the people who do like the tracks. I'm fine if someone doesn't like a track, but they don't have to shove it in everyone's face and be a complete jerk about it. When someone calls a track "utter shite" that's when they've crossed the trolling line IMO.

I honestly thought there would be positive conversation after the band has used real instruments for once. I thought that I'd get to read pages of posibive discussion and not read post after post after post of people calling this song "shite" and somehow praising the real song that Coldplay shall never feel proud of at all, "Major Minus". The title essentially sums that song up. But you people are still crying and complaining even though their using real instruments. You're literally calling the song "shite" after that. I think Chris' offness comes from either the excitement and exhileration of hitting the stage and performing for the first time in a long time, or maybe him just getting older which I really hope isn't the case. Because when he and the band goes on tour it's better if he's in top form. Hopefully he'll pull it together...

Man I'm loving these festival highlights playing right now... currently they're flashing back to Viva la Vida :D EDIT: You've gotta kidding me... they didn't include Amazing Day in their festival highlights?? In my opinion that was the highlight of the night. @ the first paragraph: He couldn't play the piano, that stupid thing broke... :P Also I have been noticing that too. His voice seems to be getting a tad weaker which is sad to think about but he is getting older. :( @ the second paragraph: I completely agree. I don't know why everyone's complaining about Ariana Grande, she has a great voice... also that new song she sang with Chris was beautiful, even more beautiful arguably when she teamed up with Chris! I loved it! :D It's fine if you don't like her music, but you've gotta admit she's beautiful and does have a great voice. @ the third paragraph: I think that's because Coldplay hasn't seen the stage in a while. I think it's just the excitement and the nervousness and the power and all that's getting to them and overwhelming them, and that's why he seemed really off in iHeart. It must have been exciting, exhilerating, unbelievable, amazing, crazy, and powerful at all the same time to hit the stage and perform in front of a massive crowd you haven't seen in forever for the first time in forever. I can see why it all threw him off a bit. He was better this time around but I think on the tour they'll pull themselves together more and more as they go on. They do seem a bit rusty but they're professionals and will get back at it in no time! :D
