  1. It involves sperm and a Kinko's.
  2. Transform!!!
  3. Well the currency is always the first thing they mess with! They keep interest rates too low for too long by selling bonds. It makes the economy seem strong for a while (and they can take credit for it) but eventually the bubble pops.

Nah, even if she was legal age, it would still be a bad idea... because it's her teacher. She should wait till he's no longer giving her grades.

Please be careful, because you could get him in major trouble!!! If someone decides that he did something inappropriate with you, he could get fired or even put in jail... so don't even talk about this to your friends because they might exaggerate it and tell another adult.

Agreed. Plus pedos usually don't go for girls that old.

Oh wow, hahah! He must look like Jonny Buckland or something. But yeah, you should wait till you're at least 18 before you consider it seriously. I suspect you'll get another crush before then, though.
  8. Wow, Makayla! You are adorable. You remind me of that girl MIA in that top pic there (the Paper Airplanes song).
  9. Here's mine right now:

  11. Unless you're only 5 feet tall, you're good. Seriously, I think women make a bigger deal of this than they should. My confession: I got mad at my best friend for kissing my sister, not because I was protective of my sis, but because I've secretly got a crush on him. Really effed up, I know! :P
  12. He's actually a really cool guy. It's just that sometimes he gets annoyed by people who aren't as intelligent as he is. He doesn't have anything against Britain, just the politicians... he's got equally mean things to say about our government.
  13. Warning: HEAVY doses of cynicism ahead! Watch this video at your own risk if you are even mildly supportive of Obama, because it will make your blood boil. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymHMY4P3OPM]YouTube - True News 18: Obama's Inauguration - The Antidote[/ame]
  14. Politicians don't understand economics. Even most economists don't understand economics, as evidenced this week by Paul Volcker's mind-numbingly stupid realization that we "might" see massive inflation in the near future. Mostly I blame John Maynard Keynes for this. He was the guy who started the trend of treating the subject of economics like it was a mystical religion, where mass hysteria moves markets rather than cold logic.
  15. Hush, no arguing! ;) "Don't be stupid, be a smartie, come and join the **** party!"
  16. We don't really need MTV now that we've got the internet... that's like begging the New York Times to quit publishing a "Food" section and focus all their efforts on reporting about war and finance.
  17. Chuck, as an anarchist I think the nuke is the greatest invention since sliced bread... because now individuals can theoretically have as much power as standing armies had in the past! It keeps little travesties like world wars from happening. Localola86, I think you'll enjoy the essay. Particularly if you like ethics! BTW, I'm not a follower of Ayn Rand, although her ideas are interesting. I think she still has too much faith in government. As for the Buddhist/money thing, well... look at it this way: taxation forces vegetarians to pay for cattle ranches, and pacifists to pay for wars. It's not enough to say you won't miss your money - you are being forced to pay for things that don't align with your principles, and as a result your principles mean less in the grand scheme of things. Basically your morality is being outsourced and a politician is taking credit (remember when Bush got praised for "giving" billions of dollars to Africa to help them fight AIDS)?
  18. What army, Chuck? Some institution or corporation would have a nuclear bomb, and that's plenty to ward off threat of invasion... Further, who would invade an anarchic territory? What's the motive? There's no tax collection apparatus and the insurgencies would be devastating to the occupying troops. Want a good justice system? That's like asking if you want a good insurance company. The simple answer is to have many of them! People can subscribe to whichever dispute resolution organization they feel best represents their interests and would dole out fair punishments. If a punishment is unfair, the public will hear about it and the DRO will lose customers. You should be able to pick your justice system like you pick which car you drive or what clothes you wear. Decentralization and competition work in the free market, they would work everywhere else, too!
  19. Not necessarily, but I'm fascinated by your gut reaction being so negative! Read this: That's another quote from Bastiat. It's not necessary to do everything in your power to avoid taxation (because you can never escape it), but I think it's important that everybody understands why it is evil. Taxation steals half your life from you. It takes away your right to decide how to spend your money... or even which charity to donate it to. But we're taught that paying our taxes is a good thing, a "patriotic" thing! But I'm an anarchist, so I don't see the good in any system of government. Here's the whole essay, if you want to print it and read it all. If you end up agreeing with it, show your friends and see what they think! http://www.constitution.org/law/bastiat.htm
  20. Yes, there are other reasons, but... You can't stomach the fact I want to keep my own money, rather than letting someone steal it? Please read the quote in my signature and see just how backwards you're thinking!
  21. We'll see in four years how Obama did. My bet? There will be lot of partisan blaming going around when things get more dire. Centrally-planned economies never work, regardless of how nice the leader seems, or what he chooses to spend your money on.
  22. The federal government is currently over $60 trillion dollars in debt. Over the next couple of years it is projected to add over $3 trillion to that figure. The government pays off the debt by selling bonds, which are documents that promise a return based on the future productivity of American taxpayers. I'm not a conservative or a liberal, I'm just pointing out that you guys might need to reevaluate what you think the government is capable of doing. Remember that although Obama and McCain racked up a lot of votes in 2008, they both lost the election. Most Americans chose not to vote, because they recognized that neither candidate would make a difference.
  23. I see the world as a collection of farms, which are controlled by men whose aim it is to steal from the productive classes. They use the threat of violence to take your money (in the form of taxation and inflation). Sometimes these thieves get in arguments with each other, at which point they organize massive team-spirit movements to raise armies to fight one another, because they are afraid to fight themselves.
