  1. This should keep people in Britain from ever going on shooting sprees! Oh wait...
  2. 100F Lightning storms. No, it's not the surface of Venus. Close, though.
  3. Naw, I've not been to South Beach. I'm not big on those pride parades or whatever. I'm actually a rather low-key gay guy.
  4. Doesn't everybody in South Africa have AIDS? Double bag it!
  5. I would say "I love you" back, but you're not 18 yet. And the Feds would use any excuse to put me in jail, since I already hate them.
  6. http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/health-news/woman-died-after-being-given-smokers-lungs-2000852.html Woman dies after being given lungs of a smoker. "Transplant tsar"? Ugh.
  7. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1286480/EU-chief-warns-democracy-disappear-Greece-Spain-Portugal.html When governments can no longer bribe people with their own money, the scam ends.
  8. Languages are fun, but they create a sort of an unnatural barrier to trade/ mutual understanding. I'm waiting for the day Google announces an earpiece that will translate any language you hear instantly.
  9. A gay man dissing the French?? No way. It is useless! They just talk and vote.
  10. The US military really has a pretty shoddy record when it comes to fixing problems. Why doesn't anybody point this out? Instead we're told they "need more money" or something.
  11. I knew the ancients were right! It was Zeus all along, not the Christian god!
  12. Regulations are just a way for the government to extract and enforce a part of labor contracts that would exist naturally in a free market. Labor does have bargaining power without government help, believe it or not. Lack of common sense happens when people forget how to negotiate and rely on the government to do it for them!
  13. How about whoever loses a court case, pays BOTH attorneys? That should stop people from making frivolous lawsuits. And regulations never saved anybody. Common sense does. Risk is part of work. Work is unpleasant business, nobody wants to do it. That's why you're paid for it.
  14. If it wasn't that, it would have been the fact they're an interracial couple. Christians love to get all up in other peoples' business.
  15. Clint Dempsey played soccer at my university! I just found this out today. That is all.
  16. Swearing is fine by me, as long as crime keeps dropping!
  17. Actually it reminded me more of the Crusades. :P lol, I just don't think German people are any worse than anyone else when it comes to racism and statism. Sure, they got carried away in the 1940's, but haven't we all at some point or another? ;)
  18. I think he just meant unskilled labor. But it's his position and bank that make their high birthrate and relative stupidity possible. So he has little room to complain.
  19. Another great parenting success! And why on earth did they wait to put the hamster down?? They should have just ended its pitiful life right away.
  20. This is so Sesame Street. He looks like a muppet. Um. Yes. More of this, please. :drunk:
  21. Yes, basically. The rise of the National Socialists was a logical reaction by Germans who felt (and were indeed) oppressed. But the way it's taught in schools here, they make it seem like a cyclical event. "Every once in a while those stupid German people go out and start another war!"
  22. Dude! They're keepin Osama out!
  23. Ahh, the privileges of winning a war! Your grandchildren get to shame their grandchildren. Funnily enough, Germany strikes me as a more-free country than Britain at this point.
