Maybe a high-pitched sound that trills (or vibrating noise, whatever you wanna call it)... Check out the part around 2:23. The guitar does the vibrating.

You might be talking about the instrumental portion of X&Y then.

Ok, so I've been searching for the kind of sound that's in the video. The closest I get is in "Low" (starts at 2:03). You can also hear the same sound (slightly fainter) in "Talk" at 2:15. So is one of these the right answer?

I really really wish they were. It would make it a lot easier to sing confidently knowing you're singing the right lyrics! By the way, they also don't have the lyrics to Chinese Sleep Chant, the other hidden song. As far as I can tell, all the lyrics online are very inaccurate for this song. I think I've come very close to figuring out the correct lyrics.

I've seen that video multiple times, but I have to re-watch it every time because it's such a spectacular performance! In My Place is one of those songs that just work so well live!
