  1. Let me just say that you were very close!
  2. I just want to say that in general, I have a similar musical taste to what you describe. I also agree with the point made earlier that pure rock is pretty much not being produced nowadays. I have to say that, given that Coldplay wanted to make a "happy album," I don't think that the pure rock genre would fit it very well. I suspect that most artists would not be able to make a happy album without going all-out pop, yet Coldplay manages to keep AHFOD pretty creative/artistic, I would say. Also, I can't help but notice that you have really good grammar and punctuation in your long post. :)
  3. Good guess, but is that a song? You're not far off :)
  4. Very interesting. I think that maybe deep thought isn't what causes depression, but rather usually a depressed person ends up searching for some meaningfulness in life which results in those deep thoughts. I'm actually pretty interested in these topics and was considering starting a philosophy thread on here.
  5. Ok guys, here you go: Take five steps, and you will end up a winner!
  6. Are you guys actually in the mood for doing a puzzle? I would like to know what that song is! lol
  7. Ah, great! Aw, you guys need some Ghost Stories or "Sparks" now... I'm so sorry, but we're in this together - wish you guys some comfort tonight
  8. You're so nice :) And that's true haha
  9. Same here lol. If we win, then perhaps we'll share the victory :) Funny that they all come from the same old era... Coldplay forgot what it's like to wait in line :laugh3:
  10. Ooooh, there are in fact 3 songs that pertain to waiting in line: -Shiver, as you mentioned: "I'll be waiting in line" -Parachutes: "Here I am, and I'll wait in line, always, always" -Only Superstition: "Stand still and wait in line"
  11. Good point. Some ideas that I have are: -something having to do with the lights -getting front row or some special seat or being in the balcony -going to the concert with somebody (instead of alone) I'm pretty sure IRanAway has experienced that before. She's also looking for a phrase, and not just a single word.
  12. Hmmm. I have not been to a Coldplay concert, so maybe others have a higher chance of getting this one. What does every Coldplayer do at the concert?
  13. Congrats :)
  14. Wow, that's gotta be IT or something close :smart: Edit: Oh wait, IRanAway already told IAmSue that screaming was not the answer... darn.
  15. Jerusalem, Israel
  16. I think there are definitely some crazy secret organizations out there, being that the world is kind of strange... But I'm not sure that what people call "the Illuminati" is the source of mind control any more than the radio or the media, etc. (my last comment about Beyonce was sarcastic). I believe that freemasonry exists/existed but as for the Illuminati, not in the way some people portray it (if at all).
  17. A Spell... A Rebel Yell :)
  18. Glasgow, Scotland
  19. ^ Yep. She's sold her soul to the devil  :dunce2: :wacky:
  20. Maybe some emotion you experience in their concert
  21. Dang, the look just changed! I like it!
  22. Thanks! For the second link, I'm getting an error... Edit: Never mind, it works. I just need to log in again.
  23. @I ran away I want the instrumental! NOW!!
  24. Well, I kind of agree. When I give a puzzle, I try to make the answer at least a moderately-known song. Otherwise I try to make the puzzle kind of easy if it's unreleased or something obscure.
