Flying Sparks

Switchfoot kinda have a weird place in my music collection.. I only had about 5 songs of them and loved every single one, so I ordered an album on the internet and I HATED it.. To me, Switchfoot are more of a "singles" band than an "album" band - the album couldn't satisfy me in a whole, but songs like "Dare you to Move", "You" or "Learning to Breathe" are just amazingly beautiful!

It's 11:45 pm over here and I'm short before going to sleep - just going through some school stuff one more time, got a big presentation coming up tomorrow :/

As both Gwyneth and Beyoncé are at Jay-Z's big gig tonight (though Gwyneth is in the audience and Beyoncé on stage :P), it's no surprise they went out for lunch together today at Japanese restaurant Zuma in Knightsbridge, London. Well, I kinda do understand mc_squared, that he's offended when someone calls a Coldplay song "crappy" - I guess you expect other people to call Coldplay songs crappy, but not "your own people" = people who are Coldplay fans themselves, you know? :P

Well, I agree to a certain point, I can't imagine calling any Coldplay song "crappy".. But if someone doesn't like 'Fix You' (though I honestly can't understand how anyone can NOT like it :P), then why not expressing it in this way.. That doesn't mean they're not real fans!

^ I've seen Gwyneth with two assistants/nannies quite often when she had Apple AND Moses with her.. It might seem a bit odd and arrogant, but as long as she can afford it, it's quite handy. Moses is in the US with her at the moment and Apple stayed at home, so when Chris is busy, I guess she doesn't have any other possibility than having two nannies at the same time.. And I guess that she wants someone special as long as Moses is that little.

^ Oh my god, not this rumour again.. It spreads and spreads and doesn't stop! Maybe they talked about it indeed - but who hasn't talked to a best friend saying "Wouldn't it be great if our parents hook up?" - that doesn't mean ANYTHING!

I didn't think about his looks when I first heard some Coldplay songs - though I kinda imagined the whole band as geeks or something :P And well, when I saw Yellow, I had the proof :D

Oooh you know what - maybe he does!! The party's host is Stella McCartney's husband - Stella McCartney is Gwyneth Paltrow's best friend - Gwyneth is Chris' wife - Chris is Will's bandmate --> so maybe they just asked him if he'd like to be the DJ at the party :D Chris once said about Will that he's a "human jukebox" and that he knows every song ever written, wouldn't be a surprise then if Will would do a bit of DJing from time to time, don't you agree? And the whole party was for charity and it wasn't just between celebrities, but between friends, so maybe he did it indeed :P

Chris Martin, wife Gwyneth Paltrow and bandmate Will Champion attended the "Established & Sons First Birthday - VIP Party" on September 23, 2006 - among the guests were also their good friends Paul and Stella McCartney! The party was all about the partnership of British furniture manufacturer 'Established & Sons' with Bono's RED campaign (Chris also wears a 'Red' t-shirt at the event). At Grosvenor Place 9, many celebrities celebrated the launch of the company's Red version of aqua table designed by architect Zaha Hadid. To be honest, it makes me quite sad to read some of the posts.. It's sad that Coldplay disappointed so many fans with X&Y.. I love it, though I have to admit that it's by far not as inspiring as their last two.. But I believe in them, I believe in Chris' songwriting skills and his brilliant voice, and I believe in a fantastic album to come..

^ Well, as it's a special night at the Royal Albert Hall and the first hip-hop concert ever to be held there, I'm sure tickets were sould out within 10 seconds or something :P And I bet they must be quite expensive, too..

^ No, I think that's good. If they try it later, their parents certainly won't stop them from doing it, but I think that children IN THIS AGE shouldn't eat that stuff from McDonald's anyway! No matter if you grow up with hippie parents (haha :P) or others..

This whole Jay-Z thing is starting to scare me.. I knew before that Gwyneth and Chris are kinda friends with Beyoncé and Jay-Z, but.. the more I think about it, the more I hate the fact :P I can't stand Beyoncé, especially because of that whole fur thing, it's just disgusting.. Jay-Z seems ok, but can you imagine him as "Gwyneth's best friend"?? :P

Liking or not liking a certain album can't be explained, it depends on your taste, your feelings, your opinions, whatever.. So if anyone doesn't like X&Y, then it's their right and there doesn't have to be a special reason for it.. =)
