  1. Yeah, call it article, news, comment, how cares..
  2. Well, I met a German comedian called Michael Mittermeier when I was working at a radio station for a month.. I talked to him, got an autograph and was with him when he did an interview on the radio! And I met Starsailor and Keane after their gigs :D James Walsh, Starsailor's singer, is the BEST, I love him, he was the sweetest!!
  3. Erm.. I'm sorry, but in how far is this article worth it to be written? How bored must journalists be :P It looks cool!
  4. Well, but it's totally natural that it's something special when you score the only goal in a game and kinda win it by that, you know..
  5. I agree. Rooney all alone as the only striker in the front, this just couldn't work.. Just look at him or Ronaldhino or all the other (young) players with so much pressure on their back - it just doesn't work when you have that much responsibility and fear of failing!
  6. ^ Well, I think he was better than most expected him to be. Before the World Cup, they all accused him of not playing well at all anymore, but he was celebrated as a hero after that goal against Ecuador..
  7. ^ Well, it could definitely happen. I guess it depends a lot on the coach as well. I'd imagine an England coach telling his players afterwards that diving isn't the right form to win - but it seems like the Portuguese players have never heard that instruction!
  8. Here's a very good new article, quoting Owen who's criticising former coach Eriksson:
  9. It's actually a pity that there are these bad tensions against the Portuguese team.. I agree with you, they did a lot of cheating (like many teams did, but Portugal definitely did the most), but I wish they wouldn't have done it, they have so much potential, they came that far, and they could be a fantastic team without cheating and diving! Just like C. Ronaldo, he could be such a brilliant player, but he destroys his image by acting like a complete asshole! My best friend is from Portugal and I guess it's very hard for some Portuguese fans to support their team when they see so many people accusing them of cheating and diving.. You still wanna support your country, but you don't wanna look like you're supporting cheaters, you know what I mean?
  10. ^ I totally agree, yeah. I'm not saying that other players don't do it as well, but the winking to his teammates was just too much.. You have to start somewhere, and when the FIFA starts acting against it now, it might prevent others from doing it..
  11. ^ :P By the way, don't you think that Beckham was much more calm and down to earth at this World Cup? Not too stylish and too fashioned up like before :P
  12. I think it's good that behaviour and attitute gets considered as well.. Ronaldo didn't deserve this award when there are other players like Podolski who do a brilliant performance WITHOUT cheating and winking.. I'm not saying that other players don't do it, but I think it's good that the FIFA looks at such stuff..
  13. Aww that's cute :P Especially because I recently got a picture frame with that "Ohne dich ist alles doof" sheep :)

Well I'm sure that these tensions between the countries will be blown away after the World Cup.. At least I hope so :P
  15. Yeah that wouldn't be too bad, but he can be locked for up to 5 games!

Haha which newspaper said that? :P
  17. Well I think Lahm simply isn't "famous" enough.. Who the hell knows Philipp Lahm except the Germans? :P
  18. German Player Lukas Podolski won the "World Cup Young Player Award" awarded by the FIFA. Other "nominees" were Lionel Messi (ARG), Cristiano Ronaldo (POR), Wayne Rooney (ENG), Luis Valencia (ECU), Tranquillo Barnetta (CH) and Besc Fabregas (ESP). With three goals in the tournament to date and a series of impressive performances alongside fellow attacker Miroslav Klose, the 21-year-old Podolski, who is about to join German champions Bayern Munich from FC Cologne, has been chosen by FIFA's Technical Study Group (TSG) as the best young player in the competition. Podolski still has another match to play, of course, when Germany face Portugal in Stuttgart's Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion on Saturday in the match for third place. A win, and perhaps even another goal, would be a wonderful way for the affable youngster to bring his first FIFA World Cup to a close. Here, in an exclusive interview with FIFAworldcup.com, Podolski gives his own impressions on how he thinks he has fared. An interview with Podolski can be found here: http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/060707/1/8n6f.html What do you think about him winning? I think it's well deserved, he did a great job!
  19. ^ Heeeey!!! I think it's horrible.. To me, it still wasn't on purpose.. Just look at it, he didn't even take a look behind him, he had to take the balance, he had to put a foot on the ground, god damn it! I would be devestated if he couldn't play in many games, I wanna see him when the Euro is in my country :(
  20. no he isn't!! come on, don't tell me that THIS man looks good: I'm not saying he's ugly, but "stunning"?? No way! His eyebrows are.. brutal :P

Huh?? What's going on here??
  22. Well, I guess then it's good that Portugal only wants to play with its B-team :P Because Germany obviously only has a B-team left as well.. But well, you gotta see it this way: Just imagine you'd be in the final, then it would suck even more that the top players are injured!
  23. Thanks, gonna watch it when I come home :D
  24. Oh nooo Philipp Lahm isn't hot at all, come on guys !
