  1. right, I've done some more tweaking to the asp version of the generator (well, i am at work on my birthday and so can't be expected to do any real work can i ? ). anyway, i've included all of the special characters from the ITA2 character set (read the notes on the bottom of the web page) and included two different sizes. but that's it, i'm thru with this code !! I'm getting to the point where i can read it without a lookup chart ! and that's v sad. so, if anyone catches me posting anything else new to do with this (answers to questions and fixes don't apply) then please ban me from the board :) here's the link (again) xygen.asp
  2. seeing as you asked twice :D
  3. it's coz the result is built up of an image for each letter and so therefore trying to save the image will result in only the image for the individual letter that you clicked on being saved. I probably won't get to change that on the web page version coz it'd be quite complicated to get it presented as a single image. You could always do a screen-grab, paste it into a graphics package and then crop it.
  4. right, here's a version for everyone ... well those that can recieve graphical HTML :) xygen.asp i might tart it up, i might not. depends how bored i get at work tomorrow  enjoy
  5. the ;) and :P gave it away for me :)
  6. juliana
  7. nice one !! cheers everyone for the bling (now to work on a program to convert it into hard cash ....... :wink3: )

  9. to make up for the errors, here's a few with the proper N
  10. guess what ? i fucked up :embarrased: the latest charts have got the N wrong - thanks owenrees for spotting the error. anyway, here's the chart with the PROPER n. oh yeah, it's been renamed ITA2.gif coz it is ITA2 code after all and not Baudot (ITA2 is based on Baudot)
  11. soz guys, but i messed up a bit and got the N wrong !!! i've redone the chart on the "i figured the artwork out" thread, but can't get the program updated until tomorrow (coz i did it at work :sneaky: ). so, anyone with an N in their name has got the wrong image !!! soz !!!
  12. the colours are still guesswork at the moment (except for the letters we already know)
  13. you'll have to use the print screen button on your keyboard (it may be labelled PrtScn or something similair) then open up a graphics package (Windows Paint will do) and then paste it into there. Or anything that can paste graphics from the clipboard such as MS Word.
  14. erm, forgot attachment
  15. ok, here we are. written in VB6 purely to get something done quickly, it's rough and ready, doesn't do any characters other A-Z and space. oh yeah, you'll also have to do a screen grab if you wanna save the resulting image coz i've not programmed any save facility into it. and with it being VB6, it'll only work on windows computers (apologies to linux folk) and you'll need the vb6 runtime already installed. try the following :- DYY DYYD XZZ XYYD XFF XZZ XFX SBS
  16. started working on one earlier today :embarrased: *hangs nerdy head in shame* haven't finished it yet. it was inspired by someone saying the lyrics to a song in the code would be cool and i thought "i'm not doing that ! " - a program could though ! :) watch this space
  17. another minimalist one ! :)
  18. nah, piece of piss :)
  19. minimalist
  20. they're the decimal representations of the binary numbers for each letter (e.g A = 00011 = 3, B = 11001 = 25 etc) i put them in purely to make sorting the alphabet into numerical order a bit easier to do.
  21. thank you !! (now just waiting on Lolly Pop's 1000 )
