I feel your pain! Working at the European Championship in Switzerland and Austria was bad enough. The German supporters were by far the rudest and a lot of them thought it was very funny that the host nations didn't do well. :dozey:

Germany could do with more Scousers I grew up in Switzerland and I actually know Germany rather well. I dont hate Germany as such, I just dont want them to do well in football because they get all arrogant. I also get a lot of abuse from Germans because I have a Swiss accent when I speak German.

I always have my ID in my handbag because I get ID'd all the time. I had my purse stolen at a house party. I had my ID, my bankcard and about £80 in my purse when they took it. The person thankfully didn't withdraw any money from my account and the girl who organised the party managed to get my ID back after I told her I'd get the police involved. (She clearly knew who took it)

I think you should be allowed to appeal (like you can in the Premiership).

The refereeing was shockingly bad today but I still don't like the idea of replays. Depends on what you use it for though. I suppose it wouldn't be too bad if you only use it if the referee is unsure whether a goal should count. The official might have to view the reply a few times/ look at it from different angles if they use it for penalty decisions, bookings etc and I think this would really affect the game.

I don't think his nationality matters but Capello's English is very poor. I wonder if he can even understand all of his players. As for Rooney, what he did was stupid but I kinda feel for him. He knows he isn't performing well and he must feel the pressure big time. I guess he was just very frustrated.

A lot of people leave work early on a Friday though. Everyone did it in my previous job.
