  1. Verstehe...
Get a job?
  4. 4 months isn't that long. My boyfriend moved to a different city when he finished uni about a year ago. Neither of us will be moving anytime soon because he's got a job there and I haven't finished my degree yet. I don't wanna know how much we've spent on train tickets/ petrol since he moved away. :embarrassed:
  6. Britain isn't such a bad place to live. If it was, immigrants wouldn't choose to stay. It does offer them a better quality of life, there's no doubt about that. Most British people are just spoilt. Don't get me wrong, i'm the same. I left my country because I thought it was a boring and because I didn't like people's attitude in general. But I can see why people might want to move there because it is one of the wealthiest places in the world and its health and social care system is excellent. I just personally wasn't happy there. Also I can't stand people who consider leaving their country/ left their country and complain about immigrants. Hypocrites, much?
  7. Once or twice a week. I always get a takeaway after a night out.
  8. Galaxy> Cadbury Galaxy Cookie Crumble is the best chocolate ever.

So what? Nothing will ever change if no one complains about it.

I'd definitely make a complaint if I was you. The police have got no right to hit you. It was stupid to lie to them though.
  11. No. Should I? :uhoh2:
  12. Looks like the Spanish celebrate St George's Day more than the English
  13. I think he's right. I don't think 24-hour drinking makes the situation worse. Also if by 'session' they mean night out, I'm surprised that it's only 12% that have more than 7 drinks.
  14. Petit Prince replied to a post in a topic in The Lounge
    Yes.
  15. 24-hour drinking? I wish! Most places close at like 2 or 3AM. Doesn't stop people from getting wasted though.
  16. It depends on how desperate you are to get back. I probably wouldn't bother. A train/ coach back is probably gonna be a lot more expensive than staying for a few extra days.
  17. Isn't it just that St Georges Day isn't very popular? You'll see a lot of English flags during the World Cup. Anyway I don't really understand patriotism.
  18. Yeah but you just end up wasting your time. And the fact that they don't do it is just wrong.
  19. It does matter if you're ACTUALLY a size 8 or 10 and you can't find no clothes that fit you because they decided to make their sizes bigger.
  20. The size thing can be really annoying. I went to Peacocks to buy trousers for because I had no money and they're sizes are just massive. I tried on a size 8 and it like two sizes to big. :dozey:
  22. Remember Villeneuve's comeback? Everyone seemed to have forgotten that the guy won the World Championship in his second season. I can't stand him because he hasn't exactly shown good sportsmanship but you've gotta admit that he's an outstanding driver.
