I cant sleep without a proper blanket so I usually just stick my legs out. I opened the window when I got home from work at like 5 but it hasn't made a difference whatsoever. Oh well, I'm sure it will get colder soon.

I don't miss my classmates at all. We didn't have much in common and I think we were only friends with each other because we lived in a small village and didn't really know anyone else. I went to a class reunion a while ago and it was rather awkward. I didn't quite realise how much I've changed since I moved away. Anyway I'm sure you'll find a way to meet up if you do miss them a lot. I'd definitely try to keep in touch with the people who really matter to you.

Never been but it's probably like any other Swiss village in the mountains. There won't be a lot to do unless you like walking in the mountains for hours. Having said that, I'm probably not the best person to ask about Switzerland. i lived there when I was younger and I really didn't like the place. I'd definitely go to Barcelona if I was you. And Paris it's such a beautiful city.

That's not the point though. I don't think the majority of the people who did vote Lib Dem want to see the Conservatives in power. No, they shouldn't because the Conservatives didn't win the elections. The election results might have been disappointing for Lib Dem but they still gained enough seats that it's of interest to form a coalition with them. Also I don't think there is much of a point in holding another general election. And if they were to hold another general election, it should have been announced straight away when they found out that some people were unable to vote.

Don't worry, they'll be fine. I lived one of the worst areas in Britain for a while and I only got stabbed every other day.

This actually really annoys me. People sometimes forget that I'm foreign and they complain about immigrants when i'm around them and if I say something they're like 'I don't mean people like you' or 'you're not really foreign'. What?! Just because I'm a white girl from a middle class background doesn't make me any less foreign. I don't think she meant you. :)

As most European countries Switzerland is affected by the economic crisis and a lot of people lost their jobs. There is also a lot more crime than there used to be.

Danke! Ja, in England haben ja fast alle Studenten ein Darlehen und nach dem Studium etwa £18000 Schulden und in der jetzigen Wirtschaftslage gibts leider auch viele, die keine Arbeit finden. Mir gefaellt Liverpool auch sehr gut und wuerde gerne hier bleiben. Bin aber auch nicht grundsaetzlich dagegen, in den Nordosten zu ziehen. Mal schauen, was sich ergibt... Gute Nacht! Bei uns ist morgen zum Glueck ein Bank Holiday und ich hab deshalb frei :dance:

Dann wuerd ich definitiv das tun, was fuer deine Gesundheit am Besten ist. Teilzeit zu arbeiten ist dann wohl auch nicht unbedingt eine gute Idee. Ich weiss nicht recht, wie das in Deutschland laeuft, aber in der Schweiz gibt es so viel ich weiss viele Studenten, die Studienzeit ueberschreiten. Ein Jahr macht am Ende kein grosser Unterschied denk ich... ist viel wichtiger, dass du einen guten Abschluss hast und es dir dabei gut geht. Naja, studiere hier. Das dauert eigentlich drei Jahre, aber hab ein Zwischjahr gemacht und werd in einem Jahr fertig. Was nachher ist, bin ich mir nicht sicher. Mein Freund ist vor einem Jahr mit seinem Studium fertig geworden und zurueck nach Sunderland gezogen, weil er, wie so viele britische Studenten viele Schulden und kein Geld hatte. Nun hat er da eine Arbeit gefunden und wird wahrscheinlich nicht so schnell wegziehen. Wir moechten dann halt irgendwann schon wieder zusammen leben, aber muessen halt schauen, was sich ergibt...
