I would have thought York is much harder to get in?:\ I was like that. Thought I was gonna like it but I then realised that other universities offer courses I'd be more interested in. I really should have applied to the University of Manchester. Tried to transfer last year and they said I might be able to after they saw my grades. They unfortunately told me after that they were no places on the course I wanted to do.

I take loads of sugar [about three spoons] and milk because I don't like coffee. I only ever drink it if I have to pull an all-nighter.

I really think you should visit the places before applying to the universities. I know it's a bit difficult because you live in Spain but it's worth it. I think my choices would be different if I had to go through the whole application process again. I like the location of my university but I'm not very happy with my course.

I'm not sure. Check it with them. I imagine it also depends on where you did your Bachelor Degree (the Spanish university)

York sounds good, hard to get in though.

The flats. I wear them quite a lot during the day I love the high heels you posted. Wouldn't have anything to wear them with because I don't have any red clothes [other than football shirts]. I could wear it with black I guess. I bought a shirt the other day that I'm planning to wear for an interview next week. I wanted to post it but I can't get the link from River Island's website for some reason.:confused: I'm thinking off wearing a skirt with it but I probably shouldn't go for a black one because the shirt's black too. Decisions, decisions.

I so do! And you know what half of the people on my course are going to New York on a uni trip in two months. But you're only allowed to go if you're doing American Studies, which I'm not. It's so unfair.

I've got shoes that look just like the red ones you posted but they're black. Why don't we have Forever 21 over here?:(

True. Even though guys often do notice what you're wearing in my experience. They're just less judgemental...

I don't get it. I mean no matter how much she likes media attention the pics/ stories on the front page of certain papers must affect her. I agree with you it's totally sickening. I don't really read those kind of magazines but I think the likes of "Closer" would sometimes cover stories like their "dream wedding" even if it's about non-celebrities.

It's good that you still wear it. People's comments did bother me for some reason. Girls seem to care so much more about clothing over here. People would give you strange looks on a night out if you wore what some girls here wear to go to uni/ work.

It is! Why would they even care what other people wear? There were a few people in our school, who believed it was uncool to care about the way you look. Plus we had a maths teacher who constantly commented on girl's clothing. Maybe it's not such a bad idea to have school uniforms.

She might be but she is seriously ill. Even if she wanted to sell her story, it would still be wrong to buy the rights in my opinion.

Haha you probably shouldn't wear them to school then. It's weird how people actually got bullied for wearing heels/ dresses where I went to school.

Depends on what school you're going to and what everyone else wears. I wouldn't have worn high heels where I went to school but it seems perfectly ok to wear them to uni here.

I hate the way the media are reporting on this. I've never like her but I feel sorry for her. The woman is dieing and they should just leave her alone.

I don't think you'll find anyone who will help you on here. You could create a Facebook group and invite people, who are from the area.

Ugh I SO agree with you. Shared flas are a nightmare. One of my housemates always bring people around and I don't feel at home anymore. We usually just spend most of the time upstairs. I'm thinking off getting a TV and taking the Sky Box upstairs. We're paying so much for it and I hardly ever get to watch any games. We actually had to go to the pub to watch the derby recently. Me and my boyfriend are thinking about getting our own flat next year (if he stays in Liverpool).

Don't like it in villages and cities. It's only nice if you're in the mountains.

I'm in a similar position. Been going out for nearly two months on Valentine's Day haha He really doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would celebrate Valentine's Day either. I'd kind of like to do something as a couple especially because he doesn't talk about his feelings.

Who are you to judge people like that? Just because someone's promiscuous doesn't mean they're a whore. It's not for me personally but that's a different matter.
