  1. Today was sooo boring. Should I go away tomorrow or stay here, be bored but save all the money?:embarassed:
  2. He was probably able to see James's posts anyway. I guess it only works when you're logged in.
  3. Had to get books out. I'm glad I decided to work at home...
  4. Things aren't looking good for Man City either. Hamburg are leading 3-1.
  5. I was there a few hours before the arrests.
  6. Aldham Robarts. The article from the Echo sounded quite scary, I'm glad I wasn't there. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-news/local-news/2009/04/08/police-hold-men-at-gunpoint-in-a-liverpool-university-library-video-100252-23346296/
  7. True. I don't think she would have listened at the time. It all was pretty obvious to everyone else. :embarassed: I'd prefer my friends to be completely honest with me. It probably wouldn't stop me from going out with someone I love either though, so maybe there really is no point in saying those kind of things.
  8. :shocked2: Just watched the video. Cant believe they got arrested outside our library.
  9. Would you warn them if you feel like their partner isn't being fair on them? One of my friend's boyfriend never really seemed to be interested in a relationship. I was always under the impression that he was taking advantage of her. I sometimes even had the feeling that he wasn't actually with her because he loved her. Now I didn't tell her anything because she loved him and she seemed so happy. I hoped that I was wrong and I didn't think it would be fair on her partner (I knew him quite well) to say anything. It turned out that exactly what me and my friends feared happened. This made me feel kinda guilty and I felt like I should have warned her even though she might not have listened. How honest would you be with your friends when it comes to those things? Would you prefer if they told you?
  10. Liverpool now need three away goals. If Chelsea dont score that is. Oh dear.
  11. Most certainly. Erm I didnt even know it was gonna be released
  12. I could live without meat if I had to. I hardly ever buy meat when I cook for myself. I'd eat more meat if money wasn't an issue though.
  13. Its not very important but I'd find it kinda weird to go out with someone who is shorter than me. This isn't really an issue though because most guys are taller than me anyway.
  14. You'll survive it. I feel your pain though. I hate it when our uni shop runs out of Red Bull and you have to drink coffee instead.
  15. Go to the shop
  16. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/7978186.stm What the hell? So Toyota decided not to pursue their appeal but the FIA themselves decided to investigate the matter further. How can they accuse McLaren or Lewis Hamilton of deliberately misleading the stewards? They're saying they didn't feel like they had to give them all the information which they already had on the tape anyway. I can't see why the team or Hamilton would lie about this. Like he must have known that talks on the team radio will be available to the FIA. Besides Trulli DID break the rules no matter what McLaren or Hamilton said. Even if Hamilton deliberately slowed down. It might not be be fair but Trulli knows the rules so he shouldn't get tricked into making a mistake.
  17. It apparently was on SSN last night (like on the 31). Who knows. We'll see tomorrow. I guess he would be able to get out of his contract with the BBC if he got the Newcastle job though.
  18. BAR didn't get any points all season if I remember correctly. There was waay too much hype around the team. I like the the fact that Brawn GP did so well in their first race. I heard an interview with Jenson Button before the race and they asked him about his expectations and he was like he had no idea where they'd actually end up. I didn't believe they had a chance to this well to be honest. It's quite common to get a surprising result on the Friday practice of the first race of the season but the top teams usually do turn up when it matters and 'shock' everyone! True, there weren't a lot of drivers around when F1 last had slicks. When was that... 1997? Barrichello, Fissichella, Trulli I think. Can't think of anyone else.
  19. Magpies turn to Shearer Alan Shearer is to take over as Newcastle United manager for the remaining eight games of the season as the club battle to avoid Premier League relegation. Sky Sports News revealed the sensational story late on Tuesday night and Shearer is now expected to be officially unveiled on Thursday morning. Former boss Joe Kinnear - who is held in high regard by owner Mike Ashley - is currently recovering from triple heart bypass surgery and he was due to meet cardiologists next Monday to determine if he was fit to return to the touchline. However, it has been suggested that he could now move to a role upstairs, possibly as director of football, as St James' Park legend Shearer, the top scorer in the club's history, takes charge. The 18th-placed Magpies are facing a fierce fight against relegation and are desperate for a morale boost, which Shearer's appointment will inevitably provide, in their bid to escape the drop zone. Former England captain Shearer has been keen to enter into management and he was linked with the Tyneside hot-seat when ex-chief Kevin Keegan dramatically quit his second spell earlier in the campaign. Newcastle, who were under the caretaker control of Kinnear's assistant Chris Hughton, face an unenviable run-in, and it is thought their fixture list provides the toughest test of all the teams attempting to survive in the top flight. Shearer's first game will be Saturday's home meeting with high-flying Chelsea, before matches against Stoke, Tottenham, Portsmouth, Liverpool, North-East rivals Middlesbrough, Fulham and Aston Villa. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5127628,00.html
  20. I got an print vest the other day because I love the print (it's black and white, 80s style) but I don't know how wear it. Thing is it makes me look fat if I don't wear it with a waist belt. Any suggestions what kind of belt I could wear with it? I know it would be helpful to have a picture but the shop doesn't seem to have a website. It's kinda similar to this one http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=19551&storeId=12556&productId=1086655&langId=-1&categoryId=&parent_category_rn= The print's completely different though. Any ideas?
  21. Anyone been to Sheffield ski village? Is it worth going?
  22. Same here. Haven't been in ages though.:(
  23. RIP :( I've never liked her but no one should have to go through this. Must be so hard for her kids. I don't agree with the way the media reported on this but it will at least help to raise awareness. The topic is getting a lot media attention now and hopefully the NHS will realise the national screening age needs to be dropped.
  24. Welcome back!

I love Dominos. I'd go there all the time if it wasn't so expensive. A small pizza there is like £10. I'd usually get chicken sweetcorn or sweet chilli chicken.
