it really is a bad thing if you stop her from spending time with her friends. i'm not like that at all, i'm not even sure if my partner[if i was in a relationship] would realise it.

i think i am way too jealous when it comes to relationships. i guess it's mainly due to bad experiences in the past and i doubt there is much i can do about it.

i don't like the jeans which are fashion at the moment. skinny jeans just aren't comfortable. i also think guys in skinny jeans is just wrong.

i've never heard of the place until someone told me they that they saw the liverpool 08 celebration on TV as well as the one in norway. but no doubt liverpool is the real capital of culture.:P it's a shame they're still doing building work though.:uhoh: ringo only sang one song, he should have sung a few beatles songs.:( and the wombats didn't sing 'let's dance to joy division either. we were a little bit disappointed to be honest, we stood in the cold for at least three hours after all. there's people like that everywhere.

that's sad. you hear about people getting shot in liverpool as well but thankfully i personally having made any bad experiences. my purse got robbed once [no joke please:P] and that's it. but a lot of scary thing do happen around here. good to hear you had a good time with your family at least. i totally understand how you feel about manchester. i imagine those things happen in most major cities in the uk. thanks! i'm not sure... i'll probably be staying for six months or so. i might go back for the european championship but i'll spend most of the time in england. i am on facebook but i haven't really used it yet. i haven't got a picture yet either... i'm gonna get a digital camera soon though. i'm probably gonna use it more often in the future as my english friends obviously aren't on on the german version. oh and a happy new year to you as well!

i don't think it's the rain that i'd mind but the fact that the weather constantly changes. it's like sunny for ten minutes, then it starts raining and it's sunny for another five minutes.

haha i imagine people would have told me if was as bad as last summer. i didn't actually notice much where i was but the pictures on TV were really bad.

i heard that it snowed in manchester this week, so i wouldn't mind if it rained. snow's so much worse... i guess it swill be warmer than in switzerland. edit. a boat? is it THAT bad? i live on a hill so i'll probably be fine haha

i don't live in halls [they are way too expensive] i live in a shared flat with other students. i imagine it's far harder to make friends if you live in a different town, like many people who live with their parents do. my flatmates mainly got to know each other and their friends in the city when they lived in halls. most people don't seem to make many friends at uni.
