Arobtth = A rush of blood to the head the best album :) As gorgeous as X&Y is as an album, Arobtth is still too classic to be overtrumped by it. Parachutes is the holy grail, but I have always had the opinion Arobtth has a bit more shine.

The grades you give to the songs dont correspond to your whi- I mean criticism ;) You have a pretty uncommon taste, it stimulates me to make my own song by song review... Weve all got entitlement to our opinion, so I respect yours. But if you slag off a track I wanna see your punish it in your grade too, or give a nuance in your opinion....! thnx. I think X&Y overall has the same quality AROBTTH has, but AROBTTH has the better individual songs. In quality, Coldplay hasnt made the progression that AROBTTH made from Parachutes. I grade the albums chronologically 8.0, 8.2, and 8.2.

I think its pretty minimalistic... Nonetheless a good song.

First I liked the old one more, but the new one is more X&Y, more 'outer space' :P It has grown on me.

I was a bit surprised to see it was the most voted song in that poll, its such an 'easy' song! For me it was love at first sound :blush:

The Hardest Part is my fave now, if I have to choose. Its what Speed Of Sound should have been: A fresh, uptempo, happy, catchy song as a great summer song single. I just love it. The album is full of gems, it starts off fantastic, it ends fantastic, and as a whole its just a rich, deep, gorgeous album! :D

Fix You has been all but confirmed by the band as a single. Besides, forget Amsterdam, the lyrical content reminds me of Everything's Not Lost! :D Ah good. Fix You is one of those songs that grows on you, i think, unlike White Shadows and Square One. These hit you instantly ;) There, brought myself back on topic :P

Fix You is beautiful, but is it single material? You parallel it to Amsterdam, another song too 'golden' id almost say, to bring out on single. Fix You isnt radio-ish like SoS... I'd be surprised if it would be released as a single! Sorry Im staying off topic! :embarrased:
